A favorite and regular stop I have to make when in Banff. Tasty pizza. Friendly staff. Great place. Highly recommend.

Visited this place in 2017 and the food made a marking note in my memory. We again went back in 2025 and truly this place didn’t disappoint us again. We had great pizza, salads and deserts. Definitely will be a to-go place when we go to Banff

We love this place! Whenever we are in Banff, we have the craving for pizza with honey and chili oil. It's the best!

The pizza was out of this world - some of the best crust I have ever eaten. The wings were all right - I like mine a little crispier which is hard to achieve in when oven roasting. Got sat at a bar which was not the greatest.

The pizza was enjoyable, as it has been on our previous visits. However, one of the pizzas we ordered this time had noticeably more crust than toppings, which was disappointing.

During our last visit, our party was celebrating a birthday, and the restaurant generously offered a complimentary dessert to the guest of honor. This gesture, which is common in many establishments, was sincerely appreciated.

On this visit, we were again celebrating a birthday, but the experience was markedly different. The waiter’s behavior was unusual, and he appeared primarily interested in having someone sing, despite our party’s discomfort. It was evident that he was annoyed by the situation, which left us with an unexpectedly negative impression given our prior positive experience.

Pizzas were delicious but the crust was a bit thin and soggy and idk if they weren't cut thoroughly enough but the toppings just stayed there as you pulled the slices out.

Food here is great, definitely one of my favourites to go to when we visit banff. My husband and I were originally going to go to a different restaurant but noticed it was 1/2 price pizza on Monday's (awesome if it was true). We sat down and there was 0 communication about how they were not honouring their weekly deal due to the “holiday” (nov 10 is not a holiday, the 11th is). Before we ordered I asked and then the server told us it wasn’t happening which changed our order.

As we sat by the bar we had to hear the server break the news probably 10 times. Some after the bill came and some before. What kind of business is being ran here? One to scam your customers and two to make your servers be the one to communicate once people are seated. I’ll think twice before going to this restaurant again because of how you do business.

It was alright! The food was decent, but at points a let down, the nachos tasted dry and lacked proper flavour. That really was the only disappointing meal of the evening though! The margarita pizza was excellent, infant I’ve never had better pizza. The crust and the sauce were prefect. Though the nachos were a disappointing, the pizza made up for it!!

This has nothing to do with the service, the service was incredible.
First off I was craving pizza and I asked everyone in town what is the best place, everyone said Bear Street Tavern.
Our server said the Bison pizza was a fan favourite THE BEST, everyone orders it. So we got the Bison and the Hawaiian and let me tell you the pizza sounded better than it looked and tasted.
The bison pizza was just not good, it was okay, but not good (there are no words describe how mediocre it is). The Hawaiian was better than the bison, but also wasn’t great (all of the ingredients individually tasted incredible, but together it wasn’t it). The pizza was lack lustre, and overall not worth the price. I’m so sad, I was so excited and I feel cheated.

Wobbly table after being asked if we would sit at the bar for our reservation, which I thought was odd, 30 minutes to receive our okay cocktail, spotty and slow service. Ordered the tavern bowl and a vegan pizza- everything was so soggy. Came for the 1/2 price pizza special advertised on Mondays. Were told once the bill came that they weren't 50% off because it's a “holiday”. The holiday was Tuesday not Monday. Do not recommend.

Also- the bathroom situation is unsanitary.

Wobbly tables, mediocre cocktail, sub par service, ordered the tavern bowl... was soggy and way overdressed. Came for the 1/2 price pizzas on Mondays. Were told once the bill came that they weren't 50% off because it's a holiday. The holiday is Tuesday not Monday. Won't be going back.

Had dinner here tonight with my daughter. We arrived half an hour earlier than our reservation and they kindly seated us. Shared the Canadian pizza and a Caesar salad for dinner. Service was good, food was ok but nothing special.

Where they really lost me was in not honouring their daily special. We came here on a Monday evening, specifically for their 1/2 price pizza special. When the bill arrived and we questioned being charged the full price of our pizza, our server explained that the daily specials did not apply on holidays or long weekends. True, and well noted on their website. Except today is not a holiday OR a long weekend. It’s Monday, and the regular working day between the weekend and Remembrance Day, a stat. Feeling ripped off and would not return.
