My boyfriend and I dropped in for dinner, and had a lovely evening. We ordered the nachos entree and the chicken fajitas to share and it was the perfect amount. Our waiter Saif was very friendly, attentive and informative- we'd both come back!

Went here for post-valentines day meal and was absolutely HORRIBLE! We both got the 4-course meal for $44.99. You get salsa and chips for a starter, Caesar salad for appetizer (the servings were unbelievable tiny), your main you get a variety of choices. I got the 6oz AAA striploin with 2 prawns and roasted vegetables. My boyfriend got the lamp shank. I ordered my steak medium, it was RARE. Everything was COLD. PRAWNS COLD, STEAK COLD AND FATTY. VEGETABLES COLD. Broccoli tasted freezer burnt. It took 30 minutes to get our dessert which was churros. When they came they tasted like CARDBOARD. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!! OUR SERVER WAS NO WHERE TO BE SEEN.

Visiting Banff to relax and recharge, we decided on El Toro for our final night. Wow! The experience and meals exceeded my expectations. The staff was kind, clean, and helpful. The portions were large and the presentation was beautiful. The starters, marinated olives with feta and seared scallops were amazing. I'm from the NS and the scallops were cooked perfectly. For the mains, we had the bison chirizo sausage with mashed potato and roasted butternut squash ravioli with prawns. Everything was excellent. Will be back again. ❤️❤️
