We went Sunday Nov 2nd' as planned at 5 pm , we found the only the bar open and were told that we can sit in the bar area to eat but if we don't like it they move us to the restaurant where they can make a table for us but the restaurant is closed cause there is not enough people to open it , we chose to go inside , bar tables are low and small round we can't have 3 meals courses there The server Stanley was kind and served us the set menu of taste of adventure , good was good But the ambience with off with no one around us and table covers removed , I would just preferred if they didn't put themselves as open

Restaurant is closed but no one has stopped the reservations. Was expecting to have a nice dinner for my girlfriend's birthday. But was told by the front end staff of the hotel that the restaurant is closed. Will not stay at the hotel or go to the restaurant again because it was horrible service.

Six of us were here this afternoon for drinks and food in the bar. . We ordered a variety of food and drinks . All the food was outstanding , drinks were awesome, the staff, wow, friendly and personable , we definitely will be returning and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Lin and Greg

Restaurant was empty but I had to hover quite a while at the "wait here to be seated" desk. I think if the restaurant had been busier staff would have been more attentive.

Food was delicious - steak a little overdone, lamb shank was spot on.
Unfortunately service was probably some of the worst I have ever had. It took over half an hour after ordering to get our drinks, and over an hour to get food. Waiter basically hid from us and I had to walk around the restaurant to find him and ask where our food was - the only interaction we had with him in 70 minutes was bringing drinks over.
Requested to see manager when food finally arrived and was told he would come over. Half an hour later and asking 2 different people the manager was still too busy to see us. Could see him serving one person at the bar so clearly just felt he was too important to come over.
Was quite impressed with the balls on the waiter when he put the card machine in front of me and it had the ‘how much would you like to tip’ screen up.
Our waiter Denis was fantastic! We shared the 14oz Rib eye...it was amazing. Nothing but 5 stars for this place

A was a little unsure of visiting this place after seeing some of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. We went here twice for breakfast. The parfait was delicious. The next day I had omelette, which came with little fried potatoes and toast, and that was lovely too. We made a last minute decision to go there for dinner, they squeezed us in without a reservation and we enjoyed our meal. The spinach spaetzel was recommended as a side dish by our waiter - a slightly odd dish, but delicious and very moreish! The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault it really. You don't get the same views as some of the other restaurants in Banff. Other than that I thought it was a lovely place to eat.

David our server was exceptionally knowledgeable he made our dining experience to be one of the best we’ve experienced since travelling around Canada. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was other worldly. Would highly recommend.
