Great experience while staying in Banff, Alberta. The food is amazingly tasty! 10/10 by any standards. Recommend steak or wild boar chop, the wild mushroom rizzotto, and halibut. The service was a bit on a slow side, so expect to stay here for a bit... But the good is well worth the wait! Atmosphere is nice and cozy, suitable for conversations, and evenings when you look to relax. Prices are a bit higher than your average restaurant, although the quality of the dishes was worth...
From the moment we walked in, the service was fabulous, so caring and attentive! The food particularly the steak, Absolutely amazing. Every dish was a testament to quality and flavor. Highly recommend!
Overall, Good Folk in Banff was a great experience.
The food was amazing, and most of the staff were professional and very accommodating.
However, we had an uncomfortable experience with one server named Michelle. She spoke extremely quietly when serving our table — almost like ventriloquism — while speaking clearly and warmly to other tables. This made the service feel inconsistent.
