I ordered the BBQ salmon roll but didn’t realize they gave me the smoked salmon roll until I received the check. No wonder it didn’t taste like BBQ. The smoked one was pricier too, and the server just apologized without really fixing the mix-up. The fish was fresh, but the pieces were super tiny, and overall it tasted more like grocery-store sushi. I’ve definitely had much better sushi for the same price.

I had a five star review for a year on here. I just deleted it and put it down to a one star after my recent experience and then a brief conversation with the manager

The atmosphere here is great I loved it. I had ramen and I would say it wasn’t what I was expecting very oily and not seasoned at all. I’ve had ramen all over the world and many places in Japan but this ramen wasn’t good I would say the pork was outstanding and the egg seem like it was in the refrigerator before it was in my bowl. Normally the egg is a little warm or maybe a tiny bit cool but not cold it was ok I would say that this place is more American then Japanese but definitely a good location

I don’t mind giving 18-20% tips for the dinner, but I don’t like the server staring at me when I using the card-machine, remember it’s very impolite to your guests, even though we are not “regular customers” of this restaurant.

The ramen was terrible, please consider a better noodles provider, tastes like instant ramen noodles.
The kids meal (fried chicken) was very salty and tastes bad, the meat may have been marinated before it was fully thawed.. my boy just pass it to me.
Sashimi was fine with fresh perilla leaves and shredded radish.
Others , taste normal.

We’re having the birthday dinner and I don’t want to ruin it because of the above minor issues. But food QC and the action of the server could be improved.

Btw the vibes were great.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. If you’re a walk in, don’t even bother. They called us when a table was ready just to have us wait for 15 minutes before being sat. The couple beside us left before they could even order because of the service. The food itself is on par with every other sushi place you’ve, nothing special. The service however, was truly unique. Our food came out with no utensils which we had to request, also no soy sauce which we had to request later. One individual in our party never had their food come out despite the other rolls and apps already served and almost fully eaten. When we followed up with a server about the wait time, we were given a general excuse about “some rolls taking longer than others, because some are fried etc etc” it was a rainbow roll, one of the easiest and completely raw. They told us it would be an additional 15-20 minutes after all of our other food was finished. We ending leaving without that roll. Wait staff also acts like you’re a burden on them when you ask request things. It’s just like every other urban sushi spot, but if you want to get forgotten for pretty much the entire night, come here! I very sparingly leave negative reviews, but I have never had a dining experience like this. Even chain restaurants treat you better than this. All the staff runs about like headless chicken, I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid this spot if you actually want to eat.

We visited on a Friday night and they had great music, the restaurant was full and the vibes were great! We ordered the Japanese bbq with a side of edamame fried rice and the scallops as an appetizer- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I don’t really eat sushi and I really enjoyed it but my girlfriend who loves sushi didn’t feel the same for the price. Beef tataki was our highlight of the dishes. Tokyo fries were too salty. Our male server was friendly and great with explaining the menu

WOW! I always hope that my dining out experiences will be “worth it,” and this was a 10/10 experience, even during happy hour. From booking the reservation, being greeted & seated, served, and the food taste and quality… all amazing. The ambiance and decor is unique and fun, and the bathrooms are clean and inclusive (separate full stalls).

We ordered ramen, spicy tuna rolls and the winter tempura. It was incredible and my girlfriend and I will definitely return. Highly recommend!!

HELLO SUNSHINE has a beautiful location with world class audiovisual and music/lighting systems. The food is really good, all the staff in the kitchen seems Asian and really know what they’re doing. Very trendy. For those karaoke lovers, the restaurant features three private rooms that can be booked for your group of friends and have an awesome time singing your favourite songs.
