Hello Sunshine Sushi & Karaoke

Great experience, kind people & tasty food! Our waiter had wonderful recommendations, was attentive and warm. First visit but we felt so comfortable in the space.

Food is delicious and great options for kids. The decor is very cool and adds to the whole experience.

Wow! Great atmosphere, amazing food and wonderful service. I ate by myself on a work trip and sat at the bar. The bar tender and serving staff were very attentive and friendly but also gave me my space. I ordered the Omakase (chef's meal) that came with 4 courses. Great price for the top level of food that I got. I didn't get the dumplings or drink pairing and it was still a lot of food. Portions were fine-dining amounts and presentation. Flavours were amazing and I asked for a spoon to slurp up the remaining lobster butter in my second course. So delish! It was my last day in Banff and this was the way to do it! So glad I went. I'd go back and bring friends the next time I'm there.

Wonderful restaurant. The drinks were underwhelming. My group of 8 didn't find anything remarkable. We eventually settled for the watermelon slush and the espresso martini as the better drinks.

The food was incredible, staff was so welcoming and friendly, amazing drinks and cool spot. Was our favorite dinner spot in Banff!

Our server was so nice and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the funky ambiance and music a lot too!

We came here for my daughter‘s 18th birthday and it was wonderful. The service was fantastic and the karaoke was a lot of fun. The girls had a great time and what was so nice was that the song choice was extensive which is amazing.  The food was quite good as well. I was not a fan of the cheeseburger gyoza, but everything else seemed to be pretty good. 

Was a great experience. We sat at the bar and and enjoyed dinner and several drink. The bartender team was great and they really care about they do. The restaurant was slammed and they all were working incredibly hard. We will def be back.

Typically good all the way around. Last night must have been an off night. Server was not all that in tune with service focus, felt like we spent more time waiting. Plates were delivered sporadically and honestly luke warm. Hard to recommend to friends when we experience a dud night.

Best noodle bowls, happy hour 3-5pm, we visited several times during our stay in Banff. Place is super busy on weekends so reservation is recommended.

Food was amazing, we had a couple of rolls that did not disappoint, ramen, sable fish and lobster fried rice....all better than we've had at most Japanese restaurants in our home state. Service was great, only reservation was for the bar but when we arrived they asked if we'd like a table in the dining room. We ate way too much but the food was just that good.

Excellent Japanese food and great service with a comfortable vibe. The bao buns were amazing. A little on the pricier side but on par for Banff.

We had a great experience at Hello Sunshine! Lots of delicious gluten free options, our server was friendly and attentive, the drinks were awesome and the atmosphere was super cool. We loved the happy hour deals. Definitely would recommend and would return!

Food is amazing, perfect. The service is great but too fast for a business lunch. 40 minutes in and out.

We've had nothing but positive experiences here and continue to come back. From friendly, knowledgeable staff who are quick to support our vegan/vegetarian diets, to amazingly delicious dishes that come out as they are made. We can't wait to try out one of the Karaoke rooms one day!
