Came for the Happy Hour. Amazing experience! If you come for happy hour, try every sushi roll and the watermelon sake slush and a pint of Asahi. Will definitely be coming back.

Such a surprise. From outside the restaurant said nothing but inside is a cozy and very beautiful restaurant. The food was very good. We tried ramen, miso soup and sushi all delicious. I forgot the desert name but it am was a chocolate cake in small pieces that were also lovely presented. The waiter was very friendly and sweet but the top was the lady in the reception who was the best making my girl wish come true.Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu, colors and paper to color. The waiter was great to make changes for my kids.

I don’t even know where to start. First of all the Tokio Drift IPA was amazing. One of the best IPAs I have had, so good that my wife who dislikes IPAs liked it. My wife ordered Asahi like she does everywhere else but for some reason the taste of the beer here was so good she couldn’t explain it!Now to the food. We ordered Spicy Tuna roll, dynamite shrimp roll and tempura yam roll….All we can say about these rolls where Yummmmmm. So fresh, so tasty, very well seasoned, rice was soft and just melts in your mouth. The edemame was different then what we are use to because we only have had salt on them or garlic, these edemame was salty and with lime and a nice little spicy kick at the end. The sashimi yellowtail is a must try it yourself. Words can’t explain how tasty it actually is. Now to the ramen…..I got the vegetarian ramen because I don’t eat beef pork or chicken. I got the veggie ramen with an egg and spicy alioli and let me tell you guys that the noodles where perfectly cooked, the boiled egg was tasty with a soft yolk and the broth was just seasoned to perfection!The reason I gave the service a 4 is because we sat at a table with a fire pit because we were cold. A family came in and sat at the table and complained about the fire and the server just turned it off without asking everyone else on the table if it was into turn it off. My wife and I sat there first and then a mom and her daughter came and we all were enjoying the fire until the one family came and got it turned off.Over all this is a must try. If you love sushi, ramen and good drinks, this is the place for you….Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options in the menu!Parking: Paid parking all over.
We (parents and two teens) went for happy hour and made all our selections off their happy hour menu. Draft beer, Yazo Negroni (2), chicken ramen, spicy tuna roll (2), chef's roll (2), crispy avocado, and mango rolls. Everything was excellent and served at the right temp. The decor is stunning, even down to the table service. My *favorite* part might have been that the noise level was low enough that we could have an easy conversation. Jess was an excellent server. We would be very happy to go back. Reservation suggested.

My spouse had a few rolls.....as per her “okay at best”....a little above a grocery store. I tried to order the steak and sushi. I explained that I could not have rice and asked to substitute for sashimi that was a lower price on the menu than the roll that came with the steak. Was told they could not do that....I asked why, he said because of cost....i mentioned that this was a lower price as per the menu and asked him to go ask the manager.....said he did and as a policy they don't do substitutions. Literally blew my mind that they could not figure this out!

Wow, definitely one of the very best sushi experiences I’ve had. The chef roll is melt in your mouth and the flavour of the tuna tartare is outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious including the cocktails, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. This is a must visit if you are in Banff!!

First impression was an immediate feeling of coziness within an eclectic Japanese ski chalet motif. We went here for happy hour and ordered nearly everything on the menu! Sushi rolls here are creative and delicious - highly recommend!
