I visited this lovely tea shop right in the middle of downtown Banff, after having their tea in the cafe at the top of Banff Gondola. We finished our meal with a cup of the Alpine peppermint (my new favorite)….and the waitress mentioned that Jolene’s was a beloved local tea shop in town. Being an avid tea lover, I made a beeline for the shop the very next day! As soon as I walked in the front door of this charming tea cabin and smelled the lovely aromas, I knew it was a special place. The staff was warm and welcoming and offered samples of some of their most popular teas. I literally could have spent all day there, sipping, smelling and reading up on all of their curated tea blends, but I left with the Masala Chai, the Alberta Rose Sencha, a few variety sampler packs and a tin of the interesting and delicious Milk Oolong, while sipping on a “to go” cup of their Forest Meadow tea…. another new fave. I wasn’t home three days, before placing an order for several more to try. My goal is to try them all eventually! Thank you Jolene for curating these wonderful teas!
Delicious tea 🍵 thx and super cute
We love Jolene’s tea! The creamy earl grey we use in our London Fogs is our favourite and one of the best teas in the world (in our opinion) Shipped all the way to Australia in great time too! Thank you Jolene’s, London fog coming up ☕️
Would give 5 stars as I love the tea but the staff were rude and not helpful at all. The young woman was huffy when we asked questions and short with us. Too bad as we left empty handed even though I wanted to purchase 40 thank you gifts for an event. Found another place in Banff instead. Just trying to keep it local.
Came here after having the creamy earl Grey at Brazen for the first time! The girl who helped us was very knowledgeable of the teas and helped us decide on which ones to purchase. The boxes were quite big but she assured us it was was easy to dissemble for easier travel!
I had an amazing London fog at a couple places around town and they were made with tea from Jolene’s so I had to go check it out and buy some to take home. The creamy earl grey is the best I’ve ever had. No sugar or sweetener needed you just steep it in hot milk of your choice. It’s apparently already mixed with vanilla and just so creamy and delicious. Can’t wait to try all the other teas I took home with me!
Amazing teahouse for the tea enthusiasts! Found some delicious Oolong from Taiwan and other specialty teas! There’s tea gifts, loose leaf, tea bags and tea to go if you wanted to try some there. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff! Thank you for creating a great place for tea lovers and can’t wait to order tea to ship home!
I like their iced tea selections! I could try thier samples which was really good
I like your tea a lot. I saw you close at 9:30 pm on Google map so I drove an hour to get here. But today I went at 9:04 pm, the staff said it’s closed. It was so disappointed.
Best tea in Banff!

Cute tea shop with good variety. Prices are expensive but I wanted a cute tea souvenir so it is what it is. The Early Grey is great!
This is the most excellent tea! My sister and I had this tea for Afternoon Tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lakes. We were both so impressed that we drove to their location in Banff the next day to buy more teas. This is the only place now I will buy loose leaf tea. My sister enjoyed the blueberry tea, and I absolutely love the chai tea which is the best blend I have ever had anywhere, including London! I also really enjoy the cinnamon plum tea for a nice evening non-caffeinated tea. I also really enjoy their Cream of Earl Grey tea. It's gentle, soothing, and very nice on the palate. I can tell it is only the highest quality ingredients that goes into each of their blends. In addition, The tea House in Banff is super cute, with a great variety of teas, and so welcoming.
We loved our shopping experience here! The shop feels very clean, warm, and inviting. We were greeted so kindly and given samplers when we walked in. They made sure to educate you about the teas without any pressure to purchase!
Great tea and great experience ! I LOVE the creamy earl grey. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!
What a great company and exceptional product! Two years ago, I switched to drinking tea. I'll have the occasional coffee but Jolene's tea really makes a difference to my day. I am super picky about what we eat and drink. We love locally grown and/or organic food. Of all the tea I've tried, Jolene's tea has outstanding flavour using high quality ingredients. And I do feel that I get less sore throats and the tea makes me feel better overall- not too much caffeine as well. Why would I drink anything else? I also love the Hario tea pot - the loose leaves help with flavour and it is so easy to clean (I have three young busy kids). My usual tea routine is Masala Chai first thing in the morning. Creamy Earl Grey or Jasmine Gold Dragon mid morning or at lunch and then health blends in the evening- love the peppermint or feminitea. And all the staff I have connected with over the years have been great. Overall- great product for the soul. Thanks Jolene's Tea House!
The best teas! Favourites are banff breakfast, alpine peppermint and blueberry. Also make great gifts since the packaging is a replica of their store. I find a lot of teas taste artificial but Jolene’s Tea has a natural taste. Love their products ❤️ 🫖
