Great place for quality Italian dishes.Food - Mushroom Pizza out of a wood fired oven was delicious. Dough is made fresh daily in house and you can taste it. Cacio y Pepe spaghetti were al dente and delicious.Service - Another outstanding category. From the front desk to the waitress a very attentive, fast and friendly service.Will definitely be back next time when in town.

Travelling from the UK we have found Banff to be a very expensive town (not sure if this relates to the whole of the country…or just a Banff?). Our meal tonight was ok. Nothing special…and especially once you convert the bill + tips to £275!!!!! For 4 people that had a starter; main meal; dessert and two bottles of wine + a small carafe of red wine. That is, in my opinion, very expensive for an ‘ok’ meal.

Food - The food is amazing. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the dessert was perfect. The tiramisu is amazing.Service - The service was impeccable, they were attentive and quick to act. The only flaw is that they sometimes hesitated to refill an empty drink or replace a plate. They lost a star because when I asked the front desk for directions to the washroom, they looked at me as if I was the stupidest person he had ever met.Atmosphere- The atmosphere fulfils its traditional rooftop resturant vibe with colourful greenery and traditional elements. The music is quite loud, but not too annoying.

We eat at Lupo approx 3-4 times per year since it opened, we have had mostly amazing experiences and the food quality is outstanding. Last night we went for dinner and had the Ocotopus appy, it was a bit dissapointing, the octopus was tough and rubbery and had no flavour on its own. I ordered the Angolotti and it was absolutely outstanding, rich, buttery perfection, except that out of roughly 9 pieces of stuffed pasta, two had no filling :(We mentioned the octopus to the server and she said she'd take the feedback to the kitchen. So 4/5 stars, still amazing but with a twist.

I always try to mak sure I have captured all aspects precisely:1) food was tasty but compared to the price, it wasn’t that impressive or very special. I had all three courses of food and rate the pizza as the better part.2) service was not what you would expect from restaurant with these many reviews and such a potential space and diverse options. First, although I emphasized that I want my appetizer before main couse (they took orders together), I received my pizza well before my asparagus. By time I got my appetizer my food was already cold. When I mentioned that to the server, response was “oh, you should get your appetizer soon”, no apologies or offer to take my pizza and bring it back warmed up. I wasn’t offered crashed black pepper or mozzarella on my food although the other servers on my neighboring seat were doing so. Kind of surprising and embarrassing… if I wanted to rate my individual server it would have been zero stars but give two just because I saw other servers were doing well and I don’t want to be unfair to the team.3) the restaurant on the other is a clean, modern design, great looking atmosphere. The bar which is located in the middle of table areas is very cozy and bar tenders were nice and helpful.

Lupo is my absolute favourite restaurant in Banff! I have been here multiple times and it has been excellent each time! The food is so delicious and I especially love the mafaldine al limone as well as the espresso martini. Just recently when I was there my experience was amazing!! We celebrated my friend’s birthday and our server Connor was so great and I would say the best server I have ever had! Connor was always making sure our drinks and food were tasting great! He even brought out a dessert for the birthday girl. I cannot recommend Lupo enough as everyone should definitely experience their amazing food, service and atmosphere :)

We had a great time here. Go hungry. Good happy hour menu but I went for the agnolotti which was delicious and rich in flavour. Probably the best focaccia I've ever had. My friends shared the uncle Morty pizza and said it was so good. I couldn't try it since their pizza ovens are heavily contaminated with nuts. Great cocktails. And we were seated with an amazing view. Our server was cheeky and such a delight. I wish I remembered his name. But, he deserved a mention. At the end of dinner he said he saw at McDonald's before coming in and we laughed so much.
