The food was quite good! View was amazing! Service was lackluster. I mean she was nice when she was around, but she wasn't around much.
The views at this restaurant really stole the show. The food was AMAZING and the menu had good variety for whatever mood you’re in. The wait staff was super friendly and offered great service, but they were a little inattentive, so if you need their attention or the check, just wave them down and they’ll usually be pretty quick to respond. When I went it was a Saturday at 6pm in May and it was really quiet, not super busy and had sports games, pool, and again an amazing patio with stunning views. It really hit the spot for us, and it supports the creative arts center which was a win. Would recommend!
We ordered 3 take away pizzas for 5 person, and when we arrived home, we realized that there are small rectangular pizzas in each big pizza box!! It was really disappointing for us. After that night I checked the google map photos and saw other customers’ pizza photos. If I’d seen it before I would never buy from that restaurant…. In my opinion, its restaurant’s duty to mention the size of their special pizzas.
Food was amazing with even better views of the mountains!
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was loud and busy, and gorgeous 😍 views. Sometimes the waitresses forget about you and talk to each other and you have to wave them down to get continuous service on busy nights. They are friendly though and are courteous
We went to Maclabs with our daughter, a firefighter in Banff. Maclabs Bistro is the restaurant attached to the Banff Development Centre and has a reputation as the place you take your parents to if they come to visit and want to treat you to dinner. Which might make you think of a fine dining place with prices to match. This is only half true. It looks like a fine dining place, with a well set up dining area fronted by large panorama windows giving a splendid view of the magnificent Rockies. The menu is small but enticing, the service excellent and the food (Caesar salad, Halloumi cheese blocks, tofu bowl with cheesecake for dessert) quite delicious. And the price for this was remarkably cheap. Definitely a place to return to.
Great place to be if you are not up for a walk into town.
The scenery is absolutely stunning, the food is okay, the service is great very attentive and polite, however the scenery the view of the mountains is breathtakingly beautiful.
This is off the beaten tourist track but only five minutes from downtown. The bison burgers were recommended and they were delicious. Service was great and the views were amazing.
Best place in Banff for me

Food tastes great tried the bison burger it was very delicious with perfectly cooked patty and pomegranate granules and the location has a view,
Stunning views, not too busy. I’m sure you can ask for dressing on the side but the salads do not automatically come like that and my salad was drenched. The dry ribs were also a bit wet but overall great value. Food was presented beautifully and servers were friendly and attentive.
Wonderful place for a coffee, glass of wine or food. Quiet, excellent views, simple modern interior and dignified service. One of my favourite spots to escape the hustle and bustle of the town itself.
Great food, better service.
Lunch with my family.
Everyone recommended stake sandwich but for me not a favourite.
Beef was very hard to bite, pizza was just okay. Not special.
Parking free but hard to find open spot.
