Masala Authentic Indian Cuisine

We have eaten here multiple times. It always delivers. We ordered Chana Masala, Beef Korma and the chef’s special paneer lababdra?, jeers rice and garlic naan. We have enough leftovers for another meal and we can’t wait it was all delicious!

I wasn’t expecting to find such yummy Indian food in Banff but was pleasantly surprised. The garlic naan was really yummy, chapatis were soft, and the daal makhni was too good. The paneer dish we got was pretty good too. The samosas could be better but that is okay. Overall the service and atmosphere was nice too.

The ambiance is pleasant and the staff is fantastic—especially Aditya and Molik, who were very accommodating. However, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered the Paneer Lababdar, and it was excessively oily, with a taste that was noticeably off and not enjoyable.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in the Canmore–Banff area! We used to be regulars, but about a year and a half ago we had one disappointing visit and started trying other Indian restaurants. Recently, one of my Indian coworkers said this place is still the best, so we decided to give it another try — and it was absolutely delicious! The portions are very generous, and the food is just amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back often again.
