I'm gluten-free and a picky eater. Staff, they went out of their way in every way for me! To the point of asking me to check my food before I left with take away. So fantastic. And food is tip notch gluten-free pizza and excellent gluten-free pasta.

We were invited to have a drink and some appetizers. We ordered some zucchini fries, and the order came as regular fries and we could not bothered to send it back so start eating. They were way way below average and I ordered “limonata” which was lemon vodka, limoncello, white cranberry juice, lemon juice and basil and my partner ordered a cranberry mojito. Both had no taste of any alcohol and was beyond disappointing. The server, who also ran the bar, not sure whether he was having a bad day or grumpy in nature, was insisting that we sign our room number and he came back twice for that.Rude!

It was the worst carbonara in the entire world. Canada may not be known as a foodie country, but this was setting the bar too low, especially considering the price.

We ordered pizzas for takeout and were honestly, severely underwhelmed. Lots of dough with very little for toppings and very minimal flavour. For Woodfired, the expectation was that there would be a crispness to them, think again. In all, it's pizza for sure, but hit up the local dominos, and you'll be much more satisfied.

We reached like almost later in evening and after settling down in our room the only available option we had was Pacini in Banff. They open till 10 PM in the month of Feb.From the moment we entered the place has its own charm towards restaurant. I had a quick look to the bread bar while being seated. We started off with the bread bar which had numerous options for bread like whole wheat, Rye & Garlic Bread. Then we had main course which is Truffle & Mushroom Pizza and Spinach & Artichoke Cheese Dip. We loved the food very much and kids enjoyed their meal with ceaser salad, margherita pizza with spaghetti.Out of all the staff was very professional and amazing and our server was George and he was awesome. We were one of the last guests for the night, so Chef Andrew came and discussed about the food and was there for a discussion instead finding out a simple answer as in yes or no. He found out that we tried pacini for the first time and made sure we will come again during the summer as well and they have nice setup outside to enjoy food in sun.Must go and try out food as its authentic italian and apart from their main course the desserts were also the game changer. We loved it. The only thing which was not as per our expectation was we thought the drip coffee refill were part of the deal but i realized after that we were being charged for all the refill.

Pancini Italian RestaurantWhile staying at the Moose Hotel in Banf (hotel was great), we ate at Pancini’s on the last night. The service was poor. My adult son ordered a jug of Sangria for himself and my wife. The waiter then took off. We next saw him when he brought that drink to the table. We asked could my other son and I order our drinks. He seemed offended. My son ordered his drink, I had a glass of Sangria instead. Ten minutes later I look at the Barman who is trying to fill in time wiping his bar down etc. So I went up to him saying we were still waiting for my son’s drink. He had not been told. He quickly made the drink and had it delivered. We then ordered our meals. My son ordered a chicken parmigiana. It was over cooked. If it had been left on the stove for another ten seconds, it would be black. He normally eats everything, but he could not eat anymore about halfway through. It was dry. My wife had lasagna, but could only eat about a quarter of it. As I sat there, I watched as people came into the hotel carrying pizzas. They would rather go out in the cold and order a pizza and bring it back than go to Pancini’s. It says a lot. I should have checked before we ate there. Not a place I could recommend!

We ordered a pick up on Sunday night. It was not worth the money. Our salad was soggy, the soups was served in a coffee cup and was thick, more like a stew.If I had to guess it came out of a tin. We had lasagna and it was flat and served with cubes of carrots. Overall very disappointing.
