My wife and i stopped in for lunch, we order a couple drinks, two smaller dishes and a corn bread to share. Our drinks came out and were great, then our meals came out shortly after without our corn bread. Our server never came by to check if we had everything or how we were doing, we finally had to ask a different server to check on our corn bread. Our server finally came over and said it was accidently given to another table and that it would be out shortly. By the time the corn bread came out both my wife and I were finished our meals and drinks. Still our server never came and checked on us to see how things were going. I will likely not go back for food again, I have had better experiences elsewhere in Banff.

UPDATE: I emailed the general manager as requested and have yet to hear anything in response. I was hopeful that the bad service ended with my visit but obviously this is an issue all the way up the chain here.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years whenever I’m in town, but this last visit was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. My party and I sat there for 20 minutes without even getting a chance to order. The waitress seemed completely uninterested, giving us that unmistakable look that tourists are just a hassle for her. We weren’t even acknowledged, let alone served.

I used to recommend this place, but after this experience, I won’t be back. The restaurant’s reputation used to be based on a warm welcome and good service, but it seems they’ve forgotten that. I understand that the tourist season can be exhausting, but a baseline of respect and courtesy shouldn’t be too much to expect.

Una de las mejores hamburguesa que he probado, y la primera de bisonte, la verdad estuvo increíble, un sabor equilibrado, además puedes cambiar las papas fritas por un precio extra lo cual es perfecto. La atención de Simone (espero haberlo escrito bien) fue muy amable y atenta al explicarnos las dudas, la verdad una buena experiencia en este lugar.

Lively and cozy atmosphere. Very busy so book ahead if you can. Drinks are, of course, very good! My husband really enjoyed the Rotisserie Chicken while I found the Backpacker Bowl a little boring. So much kale and cabbage. My fault for not requesting more peanut sauce to spice it up. I don’t recommend the apple crumble. It was really just a lot of baked apples with not much crumble. Discount on take home spirits if you order from your table!
