I’ve been to this place twice now, and it’s definitely my favourite ramen spot in town. It’s a bit small, so I recommend coming early to grab a table. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
We had dinner at Ramen Arashi in Banff and were blown away by how good the food was—easily some of the best ramen I’ve had in a long time. During our meal, there was a minor accident, but the way the staff and management handled it was truly impressive. They addressed it immediately, offered fair compensation, and showed a level of professionalism that deserves recognition. Great food, great service, and a team that genuinely cares. Highly recommend if you're in Banff and craving quality ramen.
Closest to the ramen I had in Japan :) Worth the wait
Ramen noodles are not too firm or soft. Just right 咬口感!Soup base is not too salty. But the spicy soup base is quite hot!
Ramen is tasty but the waitress rushed me since we sat down. She asked if we could order as soon as we sat down. And handed us the bill when we barely finished. I regret tipping. Even MacDonald provides better service.
Me and my friends stopped in tonight for a quick bite to eat before heading back to Calgary and I will say this is one of best ramen bowls I’ve had! It was very flavourful and a good sized portion for the price! I will definitely come back to this spot just for this Tonkotsu! The restaurant was a bit harder to find but we finally found it in the upper floor of the Sundance plaza. It is a pretty tiny dine in area however but I didn’t mind as the food and the service was wonderful! We only waited around 5 minutes for our dishes and got seated instantly (Weekdays are so much less busy) I 10/10 recommend coming here and I will be coming back with my friends just for this ramen! Thanks!

Never thought Banff would be the place we’d find the best ramen we’ve ever had, but Ramen Arashi is amazing! We came here twice on our trip (almost a third on the way to the airport!) and were blown away!

I regret not taking a picture of the food we ordered. We went there Friday night before the long weekend (Remembrance Day), and there was a bit of a line. We ran out of rice/onigiri. We were planning to come back the following night, but we couldn't make it. Overall, we really enjoyed our orders/food, especially the spicy tonkatsu ramen. We'll definitely return when we come back to Banff, hopefully next month before or after Christmas.

Although the food is excellent, this establishment is exceptionally busy. The waiting list system requires physical presence, unlike the one at Canmore, which accepts phone calls.

Overpriced mediocre Ramen.Unlike other ramen places, tea and sesame seeds are charged extra. You have to go two stories down for washroom. The atmosphere of the restaurant is borderline ok.

The female clerk on the night of November 8th had a really bad attitude! There's no point in saying thank you or anything, even if the ramen is delicious.
worst.
Perfect place with vegetarian and vegan options. We loved it

The worst ramen I have ever eaten. The soup was frozen and the whole meal was substandard. After eating it, I had a stomachache. ??
