5 star atmosphere and service. Food 1 star; Lamb boxty; root vegetables were a potatoe (even though dish was on 3 potatoe patties) and 2 small mushrooms. Very small serve of lamb. The dish was blanketed with thick yummy gravy. Salad was 1 cherry tomato and lettuce.

Horrible experience here on St. Paddy's Day. We waited over an hour, only to have our table given away to a woman who payed the bouncer $100 to slip the queue. When we questioned it he said it was the system there. We were told we were next but clearly not when our table was given to the next highest bidder. We ended up walking away as it feels morally wrong to give money to a business that operates in this way.
Absolutely disgusted with the treatment we received on St. Patrick’s Day. We waited in line for over an hour in -4°C temperatures, only to have our table bribed away by a woman who openly flirted with the bouncer and slipped him $100. When we confronted him, he smirked and said, “This is how this works.
Not only is this completely unethical and unfair, but it also felt discriminatory. We were told we’d be next, yet we were left standing in the freezing cold while others bought their way in. If this is how the staff operates, then this place does not deserve the business of honest customers.
Shameful behavior from a so-called professional establishment. If you value fairness and respect, go somewhere else. Management should seriously look into who they’re hiring because this kind of corruption should not be acceptable. Would rate this place 0 if I could. Gross

5 stars is extremely hard to come by. The beers I had seemed flat and lacked flavor. The gentleman that was performing more than made up for it. Our waiter who was from England was awesome and I enjoyed the conversations. Highly recommend checking it out.

Been coming here for years and today was incredibly disappointing. Food came out ice cold and could not find waitress. When we did she could only offer a discount. Even though it was inedible. Yorkshire puddings are changed and come out stale tasting and cold. Will not be going back again. Very sad.

Everyone who helped us at the pub was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. The menu has many options to choose from and on a very cold day the chicken leek pie helped to take the chill off. It’s also wonderful to get a Guinness outside of Ireland. Inside it is a traditional Irish pub and I felt like I was back in Dublin 🍀I’d definitely go back.

Had a great meal with fantastic Irish vibe - just like ireland. Stew was wonderful. Adding an update to my previous visit 2 years ago. The Guinness pie was very tasty as was the sticky toffee pudding.
Parking: Little hard to find parking near by.

When ordering sweet fries on the menu the price is 3 dollars, 10 on the check. Same with 2oz jack daniels. $15 on the menu $18 on the check. It really catches on to fatigue and inattention. I noticed the mistake the next day when I was away from Banff.

Food was okay. I had the fish and chips with cole slaw, and the portion was pretty small compared to normal Irish fare and the cole slaw tasted like it was from a bag, very dry. The other people in my party enjoyed their meals but weren't particularly impressed either. Other than that, the service was good, and it was well decorated.

Pretty damn good irish pub for a tourist spot. The Guinness was poured perfectly and the Steak & Guinness pie was dynamite. Go for the happy hour pies and have a pint. Do it, I dare you !
