Forget the other, much more expensive, restaurants in Banff. Here you can eat very tasty food at low prices. And the beer is also cheaper than elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my meal here. Bartender was super nice and easily understood how to make my burger of choice vegan. It is cozy and good bar vibes for a better deal than most of the places around. Relaxed but comfortable, there were quite a few vegan options and vegetarian versus vegan were very well marked.

The Beaver Bar at the Samesun in Banff, Alberta, will never be the same without Chewy. Chewy brought a warmth and energy to the place that made every visit special. Known for exceptional service and a friendly demeanor, Chewy had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued.
While The Beaver Bar still offers great food, drinks, and atmosphere, it has lost a bit of its magic without Chewy. Chewy’s presence and outstanding service will be deeply missed, and the bar will never quite feel the same without him.

We went here for dinner whilst staying in Banff. 9/10 times i order tacos out they come cold in the middle. These were warm throughout! Very satisfied ? $3 tacos on Tuesday and a limey margarita for <$10 it's a great place to start off your evening!
Vegetarian options: Jack fruit taco was available as well as chicken or pork

I ordered the Beaver Burger within the Happy Hour, Jesus Christ, he was really good and enough for the rest of the day! I loved it! the food & drinks were both amazing and delicious ? !! I'd absolutely recommend ordering the grilled cheese, it was so yummy perfect food to munch on while drunk. and their margaritas, Strawberry margaritas & tequila sunrise cocktails were 10/10 amazing. they have really good tequila there.the only thing I wasn't really keen about was the size of the pub. it was very crammed, squishy & small so there wasn't much room to move around or dance. that mightve also been just because it was very busy the night I went. but I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out!

I've had some good (veggie) burgers but oh my god. the kahuna burger w/ beyond meat was a religious experience. definitely recommend. bartender was lovely. gets quite busy on weekends & is quite small it seems - reserve or arrive early.
