Man, where can i even start I booked reservations here for my girlfriend and I anniversary and was not excepting how amazing everything was, Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable and made very good recommendations on our drinks which blew us away, we ordered the cucumber salad to start and I have never had a cucumber salad so fresh and so flavourful, we had ordered the steak frites and the spicy rigatoni and the steak was so well paired with there apple jam glaze one of the best steaks i have had even compared to chairmen's in Calgary AB. The spicy rigatoni was also amazing not to spicy just enough for you to know it was there. Overall our service food and all around experience was a 10/10. Highly recommended requesting to be in Kevin's section will set you up right!

Girlfriend got the duck. It was great. I got the cheeseburger. The burger was only about 5 or so dollars more than what a more casual place might charge, but it was levels above any other burger I have eaten. Totally worth it.

The highlight of our trip to Banff and well worth the wait for a table. We sat at the bar and had a great time chatting to and being looked after by Guillaume and Steve. Guillaume was knowledgable about the menu and ingredients, made an astounding cocktail and ensured our visit was one of the best dinners of our visit to Canada. Highly recommend the escargot here!

Best restaurant in Banff, hands down. If you want to bring your family somewhere delicious and hearty -- just come to the Bison. Exploring other options will just make you poorer and less satisfied. Just shell out a bit. It's totally worth it. And get the tomahawk.

We ordered 2 sets of the Three Course Menu and 1 set of wine pairing to share, the portion was good. The staff was professional by suggest us to change the wine to match the food we chose. And it did make the meals more enjoyable!
The Tartare was good and I really liked the sourdough. We had Beef Striploin and Salmon as the main course. They both stood out in terms of taste and presentation. A great place for special occasions!

Great spot downtown Banff with a higher end menu. Amazing crudo and tomahawk, both cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We were with a big group and they did a great job managing service. They accommodated our large group last minute during the week, and despite it being busy, everything ran smoothly and felt well organized

The food at The Bison Restaurant & Terrace in Banff, BC was awesome!
The Alberta Bison Tomahawk was awesome. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The bison was perfectly seasoned, very tender, and not gamey. We were surprised it was very tender, as bison is more of a lean meat. The reduced French onion sauce elevates the bison to a whole new flavour experience. The carrots, potatoes and salad were also delicious.
The Seared Scallops were awesome. The scallops were tender with a bit of sweetness.
The Smash Cucumber Salad was crunchy and refreshing salad.
The Spicy Rigatoni was awesome. It had a nice spice kick.
The Saskatoon Lemonade was good.
The Bison Old Fashioned was top notch and smooth drink.
Wonderful fried chicken beyond any other kind of chicken dish I've ever had and we had the steak and that was absolutely wonderful too service was outstanding highly recommend
