This was the best meal we had in Banff. The bison short ribs were amazing. We enjoyed sitting by the window and watching snowflakes fall from the sky. The place is popular so you are going to need reservations.

Our second visit here, we first came in 2019, and it's got even better! Great service great food and a cool atmosphere. The Bison pasta was delicious and a great Zinfandel wine suggested by our waitress. Thanks for a great night.
This restaurant really lived up to all the wonderful reviews I read. Everything we tried was delicious and the wine selection was extensive. I would definitely go back next time I am in Banff

The food was amazing. The beef tartare, fire roasted octopus, bison short rib and Alberta bison tomahawk were prepared perfectly. There was not a bad bite the entire meal. Friendly and knowledgeable service.

We stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and so were the beverages. We look forward to dining in for an entire meal next time we’re in the area.
Went twice while in Banff. Can't fault the Bison. Always great tasting food and a good wine list too. Service is super efficient and friendly. Will return again next ski holiday.

Lives up to its reputation. Delicious Hamachi appetiser and equally lovely Salmon main course. Delicate and full of flavour - every mouthful a pleasure. If there were two dining, would have certainly gone for special - Alberta Ribeye - sounded delicious. I have a few tolerance issues which were easy accommodated. Great service. Back in Banff, back at Bison.

We had the hot beet salad as appetizer and the bison burger which came with fries. All food is sourced locally which had a big appeal. The food was excellent, the service also. The ambience is cosy and relaxed.

Steak tartare was the best I have had! Service excellent. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. Liz helped me with the group reservation and was very understanding with various requests. Highly recommend this restaurant. A little pricey but worth it!
