We’ve eaten here multiple times over a few years and have gotten sick twice. The food is very bland and way overpriced. Trying to be a fine dining experience but the food doesn’t match. The steak sandwich was a strange texture, the nachos were so flavourless with dry beans and unseasoned chicken, the beef in the burger was tough and no flavour, the salad was somehow also very bland and oily. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the live music is fantastic but they really need some new chefs in to improve the food quality.

Dined at the restaurant last night and can't say the experience was amazing. Our server was great, but we can't say the same about the food. Ordered the Beef Tartar for appetizer and the meat wasn't chopped, rather cut into strips, but that wasn't the worst part. We ordered the 'Coq au Vin' expecting the classic French slow-cooked stewed pieces of chicken with mushrooms, carrots, bacon, and pearl onions. What we got was bits of chicken breast wrapped up in bacon sort of like a sausage, and cut into three segments. On the plate was broccolini, a miniscule amount of shimeji mushrooms, and sauce on the side. The table across from us ordered the same dish and had an even stronger reaction. Guys, if you're going to serve Coq au Vin, serve Coq au Vin, otherwise consider renaming your dish to something more appropriate. Our server was even embarrassed. Food is extremely over-priced and kitchen is extremely slow, we were there nearly 2 hours from start to finish for a party of two. Won't be coming back to this restaurant.

Upon reading the reviews of this restaurant prior to our stay at Sunshine Village Resort, I was skeptical of getting a good meal here. I need not have been concerned. We dined here and at its sister restaurant, Chimney Corner Lounge, each of our 3 evenings at the resort. We enjoyed each experience. The service was quite good (Armand did an exceptional job) and the menu included a wide variety of options. We were particularly pleased with the number of vegetarian choices available. Loved the view of the mountain, too. It can't be easy providing a top-rate restaurant where everything needs to be transported by gondola. This place manages to do it with class!

Highly suggest making a reservation for lunch or dinner during busier days.

food is ok, but wait more than 80 minutes is horrible.

Food is good, convenient walk or elevator down in the hotel. Has options for those with dietary restrictions. Sarah was our server a couple nights and was wonderful.

Nice restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Lodge. Spacious with nice views, with good quality food. But its more a lounge than a family restaurant.. with live music and overpriced food. I get that its on the mountain etc... but still ... Its a lovely place to enjoy small meal or apps with glass of wine. Staff is new but eager. Wings are small but very good. Good wine list.

We dined in Eagle's Nest Wed night. Extremely disappointed in both the service and the food. 20 minutes after we were seated we actually talked with the server. And that after I had to ask. Then the main courses: Steak- sent back not onc . It twice...wanted medium rare and it came back blue rare. Server did take it off the bill. Veal- so overcooked I could barely chew it. Two bites and I stopped. For a supposed fine dining restaruant I my wife and I were underwhelmed to say the least.

I usually have lunch at Eagle's Nest when skiing at Sunshine Village. Had lunch there yesterday with my daughter and fiance. It is nice to be able to relax in a nice environment with no crowds as opposed to the day lodges. Full lunch menu, beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Get there early to beat the long line. Expect a good hour-hour and a half though if they are busy.

As a professional ski instructor with the csia I take advantage to have breakfast in the Eagle's Nest whenever possible the crates are amazing in the hot chocolate is very tasty, And the service here is great. And the fireplace is toasty warm with a comfortable couch to enjoy eating your crepe.
