Adam & Dani are super friendly when we visited few days ago, food was amazing, from cheese loaf to oyster to the main dishes everything was exceptionally good. Service was excellent too!

Food was super good! The hostesses were very accommodating, our server wasnt the most interactive but thats okay, i ordered the no-wine sangria which was so good, we got beef tartar, bison burger and the new York striploin which were cooked to perfection. We didnt think to get dessert but so glad we did, we got the creme brulee and hot chocolate souflee which were both amazing even my mom who doesnt usually like sweets licked her bowl clean. Would recommened and would return when we come back to banff.

Wonderful experience. We visited The Maple Leaf in May of 2025 on our trip to Canada. Very cozy, amazing service and the food was divine. We split the Crab Cakes - never found them in my country - and they were SO GOOD! I had the Signature Maple Salmon & Prawns and my travel partner had a steak. The Salmon was perfect, the mash seasoned really well and the seasonal veggies were very good as well. My partner enjoyed his steak just as much.
Of course, the prices are a bit higher, but the quality of the food and the service matches that 100%.
We also went a day later for lunch. I noticed that Sauce Hollandaise has a very different taste in Canada to the ones I've tried in Germany. I do prefer the more seasoned (Germany) version, but it was still good. Smoked B.C. Salmon Benedict were good - eggs perfectly cooked and the salmon was delicious.
Our server (so sorry I forgot his name x.x) was also really helpful in suggesting, what to do in Banff if you don't have the time or mobility to join a lake tour.
All in all, I do recommend this restaurant 100%. Would come again, if it wasn't like... 11 hours away by plane and bus :D

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the $39 Winter Feast. Several of us upgraded various dishes, the duck wings were so delicious! Want to give extra thanks to our server, Brittany, who was one of the best we have ever seen with her attention to detail and friendly demeanour. See you next time.

I really wanted to love this place. The service was genuinely excellent—friendly staff, quick seating, and they checked in often without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the same standard. The dishes looked promising, but the flavors were flat and everything tasted a bit underwhelming. For the price, I expected something much more memorable.
Great service can only carry so much—overall, I left disappointed.

The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the service was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Everything felt smooth, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. l'd definitely come back again highly recommended.

Bubble Tea
We ordered the cowboy steak, crab gratin dip and some oysters but the server brought us the 40oz tomahawk instead of the 18oz steak, and didn’t confirm our order with us. She also didn’t ask us our choice of sauce for the steak. We didn’t realise it was wrong until we saw the bill. We’re not sure if she took the wrong order on purpose. The food is ok but we’re not happy with the experience.

Took my kids here post a hockey game and some post xmas shopping on banff ave; it was wonderful; they loved it, and its been a favorite of mine for nearly 2 decades; I have never had a bad meal here and now I have officially passed this gem onto my kids to enjoy for many yrs to come hopefully.
Maple leaf has amazing food. We always make sure to eat here when we come to Banff and it is fantastic every time

Service provided by Julian was friendly and efficient. Crab cakes were amazing, but much larger than we expected. This was almost a full meal for two people. The leg and thigh portion of the Brome Lake Duck was very tender and delicious, but the sliced breast portion was quite tough with lots of unchewable bits that we had to discretely remove from our mouths. The orzo under layer was excellent, but a bit too much. I'm glad my wife and I decided to share. One appetizer and one main course order was more than enough for two people.

We had tomahawk steak for dinner. The steak was over cooked, we asked for medium and got medium well. The waitress was nice but there were many times where we wanted service but she was no where to be seen. In terms of portions, it was probably better to just order two steaks vs tomahawk however. Service was relatively fast in terms from order to food on the table. No one has read our notes during reservation.

We stopped off here while doing a tour of the Rockies. Jordon was our waiter and she was amazing. The steak was superb, hit the stop perfectly. Highly recommend if you after some Canadian steak 👍🏻
