We really loved the food, the service and the atmosphere! Such welcoming staff with bright smiles!! Loved it! They even made special cocktails for us on request! A definite must visit if you ever are in Banff!

Food was the best supper we have had since visiting Banff (5 days). All the food was prepared to perfection and was so good. The kids loved it and so did we. My husband has the best steak of the trip and my short rib was delicious! The service was exceptional and so was the food. Great spot!!

We recently stayed at Buffalo Mountain Lodge and dinned multiple times at The Prow. The food was delicious but we want to send a special thanks to our servers, Karen and Oleksandr.

Their service was above and beyond and made our visits so memorable.

Black bun that was delicious, thick bison, excellent combination, fresh potato cut fries

Lots on bison and very delicious

Cappuccino was great to finish the meal off.

Disappointing Christmas Eve Dinner – Not Worth the Price

We decided to have dinner here, and honestly, it was nothing special. The food was average at best—not bad, but definitely not worth the price they’re charging. For what we paid, I expected something much better or at least memorable, but it was completely underwhelming.

The real kicker was the drinks. I ordered a gin-based cocktail, and I can guarantee there was no gin in it. Either they forgot to add it or they’re cutting corners, but it was basically just flavored water. Absolutely not acceptable, especially at this price point.

Overall, the experience felt overpriced and underdelivered. There are plenty of other places that offer better food and drinks for the same or even less money. I won’t be coming back.

We stopped at the Prow and sat at the bar for a couple drinks, the staff was all welcoming and friendly - especially Jake the bartender. He made the best old fashions, very experienced bartender, knowledgeable and friendly. The seasonal drinks were also great! Highly recommend.

A really spectacular night out!
We were grateful when the restaurant squeezed us in between reservations. The staff didn't rush us at all, and let us enjoy our servings.
The food was delicious, with interesting bison options on the menu. The cocktails were also excellent, with excellent recommendations and service from the bartender.
We also loved the rustic decor, complete with vaulted timber ceilings, fires and decadent Christmas decorations.

Absolutely amazing place for some drinks and a snack. We came in for just a couple of cocktails and were seated right by the fireplace and quickly served. The bartender on duty, Jake, came over and asked us what we wanted to drink and instead of just recommending something off the menu went back and made 2 amazing cocktails for me and my wife based on what we said we normally liked. After the first round was so good we just told him to make us what he wanted and and after asking a few questions came back with 2 more great drinks and the chicken poutine was a great light snack to go with the drinks.

Had a lovely dinner here yesterday ! My boyfriend and I got the calamari, bison tenderloin, seafood pasta and the apple pie for dessert. Everything that was suggested was amazing! As a local, would highly suggest all of these items. Big shout out to Ben, Jake and manager Andrew for their great service. Can't wait to come back !

Dark haired bartender thinks he's funny and is rude and sarcastic if you’re not a guest. The other staff are good. Service a bit slow but perhaps new staff.

Atmosphere is amazing. Small group of 4, we ordered meals at 5pm, waited an hour for it to arrive. Waited again to be checked on. Perhaps server hasn't quite figure out how to manage tables?
