The main course was rushed out and interrupted our appetizers. The mac and cheese was not hot. Our server was very friendly, and tried to cover off any problems. We were sad that we couldn't get fish and chips after 5:00. The lemon dessert was lovely and overall we enjoyed our meal.
I'm not really quite sure why this place is rated so high. I came here with my wife and son. The waitress was ok at best. Don't explain anything on the menu. Didn't ask how our food was. Didn't do much of anything. We order two cocktails. Both were light on alcohol and high on mixer. Worst cocktails we've had all week. Bison ribs were good but tough. I took a few tries of getting the waitresses attention to get a steak knife but that didn't help as they gave me a serrated knife instead of a sharp flat blade knife. They should tell you this when you order as rib meat typically falls off the bone. I watched others struggling with this as well. Elk pizza was good. Chicken salad was good. Son got kids pizza but it was bad. You could tell it was a frozen pizza. They should have made this fresh. Needless to say this isn't a place I would recommend, overpriced and you could skip if visiting Banff.

The tuna melt I ordered came highly recommended by our server but I didn't think it was that good. Otherwise it was a great experience and would try other items there. The pizzas looked amazing

Banff for beer. A very pleasant atmosphere and delicious pizza. The staff are also excellent. It's a beer restaurant you'll definitely want to visit.

Excellent service, prompt and friendly. Made accommodations for a stroller. I did really enjoy the special pizza crust and the seasonal spiced apple cider and mulled wine were a perfect touch.
