We really enjoyed our trip for dinner. Our food was spectacular - the shrimp scampi was 10/10 and our server Cam was top! Really made our experience - Thankyou!
Good was wonderful and server was great. The Bruschetta was one of the best I've ever had.
We sat on the patio in July. The pasta was outstanding. I had the carbonara and my fiancée had the bison tagliatelle. We cleaned both plates. The focaccia was a great addition when ordering pasta.
Sat at the bar and had excellent service from Johno. Started with oysters, were amazing. Then Caesar salad which was solid but not at all a Caesar salad. It was blanched kale with a vinegar dressing with golden raisins, lardons, and cheese. Tasty but not what you would expect. Then the spaghetti and elk meatballs. Very tasty meatballs, and the sauce just needed more seasoning and herbs but easy to fix with some salt and red pepper flakes. Finally the star of the show was the Ossa Bucco. Simply incredible with a broad spectrum of flavors and textures all perfectly combined into the best version of this dish we've ever had. The bar scene is the move here if the patio is too cold!
We ate here for dinner two days in a row. They were great. Very accommodating of two people in our party with garlic intolerance. Food was fantastic. Wine was great. Servers were attentive and friendly. Next time we're in Banff we'll be visiting the Fat Ox again. Thanks for a great experience.

Food is decent and cocktails are good. Service in utter need of improvement as it's snobby and you just don't feel welcome here. Unfortunately mediocre service just kills good food, and this place has the potential to be much better.
Celebrated my wife's 40th and loved everything. Our waiter, Brando, was engaging and entertaining. The food was fantastic and was a hit for all of the group.
We were disappointed with our experience. We were seated in between two tables with young children despite the restaurant being less than half full. Our waiter seemed to rush us and was not pleasant. He did not give us time to look over the menu and asked immediately if we were ready to order. My husband's martini did not arrive until we were finished with the appetizer. The food was ok. Definitely not the best Italian we've had.

Molly was so kind and you all were very patient as we had to keep pushing back the time of our reservation due to travel issues.
Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. Wait staff was friendly and provided local tips and myst see places. As a diner with celiac, felt confident with recommendations and that there was no cross contamination. Definitely recommend.

The food was so good! I have never had spaghetti that good! So much flavor in every dish we had. We loved the focaccia, bruschetta, spaghetti and meatballs, gnocchi and the ox Cesar salad. Great service too.
Loved this restaurant! The 30 month prosciutto was the best we've had. Great service. We would eat there again and highly recommend.
