Beautiful views from the patio and the waitstaff and manager were kind and professional. Excellent beer selections and cocktails. My fish and chips were excellent. My husband enjoyed his classic schnitzel. Would definitely come back to sit in the patio for a casual and relaxing lunch or dinner.

We ate in the bar .. which was a bit dirty and run down .. especially the washrooms. Since this is a part of the Banff Springs I was surprised by this!

Hearty German/Swiss inspired food in an Alpine style setting. Amazing views! Food was good and service as well in general. We had to wait 50 minutes for food to arrive. Our Schnitzel and Späzle dishes were good. However the Schnitzel was meant to come with a potato salad. Instead we were served deep fried soggy potatoes. We mentioned this to the server who simply said that was their style of potato salad! Unacceptable.

My family spent a week in Banff and Jasper and tried many restaurants. This is, by far, the best meal we've had all week. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious, service was top-notch, and the ambience was charming. We would definitely come back and dine here again.

The loveliest meal during our stay in Banff. This Banff Springs neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet compared to Banff downtown. Beautiful, historic building, friendly staff, excellent menu and food quality. The weather allowed us to enjoy their patio which has gorgeous views. Highly recommend.

Amazing restaurant with an amazing view. Out of the downtown hustle which is nice. Park down at the Bow Falls and walk up to the restaurant through the woods for a fairy tale experience. Well done Waldhaus!

Our server was great-we only had a light fondue dinner—if you like fondue, this is your place!! It has a beautiful view and we watched elk as we ate! A charming place!!
