5 years later update - the place is still good! Had a flat white, a sausage roll, and a carrot cake. All three were great. It's still a nice stop off for a coffee and a small bite to eat.
Loved the coffee. Buying a bag of beans gets you a free drink, which was awesome. Thanks for the great cortado and flat white!
It's attached to a hotel that is under construction, but the cafe is still open through construction... And COVID

The staff member seemed to show a subtle sense of superiority toward customers who aren’t fluent in English. I may be mistaken, but I felt a certain condescension from the Asian staff member with a ponytail. This made me uncomfortable, especially since I didn’t have this experience with staff at other cafés in Banff.

This is located within the Aspen Hotel. It's a small cafe to the side of the hotel. I enjoyed it here. They also have teas, which automatically makes me happy. There was sort of a line, mostly people getting coffee. There's some seating near the window indoors. They had some treats on display. I decided to order some tea, and also a breakfast burrito with bacon. I really liked the sauce it came with, and the filling was nice. Friendly service! I didn't wait that long for my food. My tea was nice and piping hot. I'd come here again if I needed a quick breakfast.

Coffee is delicious and plenty of seating. There's a main seating area in the main coffee shop, some outdoor seating with a fire pit and additional seating downstairs.

I’m a Banff resident and have tried every coffee place in town — this one is by far the best! The consistency are unmatched. Definitely my go-to spot for coffee in Banff.

We had an amazing experience here - order, wait and then sit where you like. The coffee was great & if you’re Australian it tastes a bit like home!

Some good gluten-free options for pastries, including the cookie and the coconut macaron
