I, Eman Rana, am formally lodging a complaint to bring to light the unjust and unlawful treatment I experienced as an employee at Pizza Hut's Beaumont location in Alberta, Canada.This complaint serves as an official account of the events that unfolded during my employment tenure, which culminated in a termination lacking just cause or due process.Beginning my employment journey on July 20, 2021, I faithfully fulfilled my responsibilities as a part-time front cashier until September 2023. Despite my dedication, I regret to inform you that I did not receive an offer letter, a basic requirement under employment standards, indicating a disregard for legal protocols by the management. As 18-year-old and at my first job, I had no idea what to expect during the hiring process.The situation worsened in September 2023 when citing business slowdown, I was unilaterally removed from the work schedule without any formal notification or issuance of a Record of Employment (ROE) or termination letter. Despite the lack of due process, At that time I let it go.In February 2024, I was persuaded by the owner to return to the workplace by the owner's assurance of more hours. However, on April 3, 2024, I was unjustly removed from the WhatsApp group (which was used for employee schedules and communications) and subjected to derogatory racial remarks by the owner, demonstrating a clear violation of basic human decency and professional conduct.It was only today (21 April 2024), through a telephone conversation, that I learned of my termination without cause, a decision that was not preceded by any formal notification or documentation. Moreover, the baseless accusation of using abusive language against the owner is utterly false and only exacerbates the injustice I have faced.This mistreatment has not only caused emotional distress but has also significantly impacted my academic pursuits as a student at the University of Alberta. The traumatic experience of facing racial discrimination and unjust termination has hindered my ability to focus on my studies, thereby affecting my academic performance.Furthermore, Pizza Hut Beaumont has systematically withheld tips from its employees, a clear violation of company policies and employment standards. This exploitative practice not only undermines the financial well-being of employees but also reflects a concerning lack of integrity within the establishment.Since I started working at Pizza Hut, I did not get a single dollar in Tip which were collected by Pizza Hut. According to CRA controlled tips are taxable income and it must be recorded when paid to employees. It is a direct violation of CRA policies.In light of these egregious transgressions, I feel compelled to raise awareness by sharing my experience on Google reviews for Pizza Hut. I hope that by doing so, others will be informed and empowered to make informed decisions about patronizing Pizza Hut establishments.Additionally, I intend to pursue legal recourse and seek redress for the discrimination and mistreatment I have endured. Ordered 2 medium pizzas for $28.00. Delivery showed up and order was $38.00. I live 2 blocks from the store. Half of the food got thrown in the trash because it was sub par. If we had ordered from Royal Pizza, we would have paid $47.00 and eaten a pizza 10 times as good. Pizza hut used to be so much better.

I ordered delivery last night. A medium cheese pizza. Usually Pizza Hut has a really good thick layer of cheese on their pizzas. When you bite in there is usually the pull and stretch of the cheese. Ooey gooey cheese pizza.Not this time! There was the merest dusting of cheese on this pizza you could hardly taste or see it. It was all bread and sauce. Thats it. I ordered a one topping pizza (cheese) and it was barely there. Extremely disappointed. I have noticed that panago and papa johns are hardly putting any cheese on their pizzas anymore either. Everyone’s trying to cut back and gouge.

We placed an order online and made a mistake on OUR end of the order. Upon arrival to the store to pick up the food, we realized our mistake. The manager fixed our order quickly and with a smile. Everything we ordered was excellent!! Highly recommend getting pizza here ?
I was there quite a bit as they have some really awesome deals when buying more than one pizza. For example Triple threat is 3 medium pizzas for $40 and good pizzas. I like. People there r nice too.
