The Italian Farmhouse Restaurant & Bar

First time in Alberta and decided to try some Italian food before heading to the Elbow Creek.
I loved their lasagna and was grateful they accommodated us without a reservation.
I had to ask for water refills and my party left before me because I had to wait for server and my check.

If you haven’t checked out the Italian farmhouse new Wine Bar yet, check it out !! Farah the waitress is fantastic and the spot has a great vibe !! Nice little hidden gem right next to the restaurant.

Everything about our visit was incredible! I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday and neither of us had been there so we were hopeful. The overall experience exceeded my expectations by a landslide! We sat on the patio, which was absolutely stunning. We ordered a few different cocktails which were delicious. We ordered the beef carpaccio which was soft and buttery. The pesto added a wonderful flavour to it. Highly recommend. I ordered the lobster and crab ravioli and my boyfriend ordered the seafood linguine. Both were fantastic!! We also shared the featured dessert which was a chocolate brownie with gelato and a raspberry sauce drizzled on top. Definitely a 10/10 experience! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Oh my goodness. 10/10!!! Come try it for yourself. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the lobster and crab ravioli and the wagyu mushroom ravioli!

This has been on my list to try for years and although we had exceptional service and the place was so cute and charming, food was a bit mediocre and we didn’t enjoy it too much. Best item was the pasta but the 2 other dishes weren’t great. Agree with the other reviewers that pasta is the best bet.

The white wine or pesto seafood fettuccine are my favorites! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere always brings us back.

We tried the traditional-style carbonara, but the ratio of pasta to the sauce seemed off. There was simply too much pasta for the amount of egg （should be egg but not taste,,)used, so it ended up tasting quite bland. The portion was also so large that I couldn’t finish it.
The summer salad was fresh and creative, and I liked the idea of pairing it with watermelon. However, the watermelon released a lot of moisture, making the salad quite watery by the time we were eating it, so we couldn’t finish that either.
The seafood pasta was another generous portion, but the flavor became repetitive, and we ended up taking the rest home.
The restaurant has excellent reviews, and I can see why. It’s absolutely charming, the servers were friendly, there’s a lovely patio, and the overall atmosphere is great. I may have gone in with expectations that were a little too high. It could simply be that we happened to order dishes that weren’t to our taste.

The mushroom soup was incredible and the rest of the meal kept improving. Great food, excellent service, and even a place for the kids to play beside the patio!

First time here and the food was great, the atmosphere is beautiful and our waiter was very pleasant. I will currently stop by here when in Bragg creek

What a great last minute decision to go for a late supper here!! Our server Hayley was absolutely lovely, she made wonderfully delicious recommendations for our first visit. The food was perfect, flavorful and good portions. I had the sweet potato gnocchi and Omgoodness 🤤!! Our very sincere compliments to the chef and thank you again Hayley!! Cheers!

From food to service to location to interior, everything was up to the mark. I must say they pour heart to nake every dish, the serving staff is welcoming and takes good care of all the concerns. We went to celebrate a frien’s birthday and honestly that was the best decision.
We tried their sicilian Arancini, baked Brie cheese platter, sweet potato gnocchi, margherita pizza & caprese salad.
It can be a bit pricy for some people but worth experiencing the fine dine at this place.
