Have a horchata or maybe 2, I drank all of mine in about 90 seconds, it was that delicious. The tortilla soup was very good. The tacos though, they were really excellent. I had asada and my friend had those and the pastor. I highly recommend this place and will go back soon.

I drive from Calgary to Medicine Hat fairly often and the only thing that makes the drive tolerable is knowing that I can stop at Don Chavas for some amazing tacos or chilaquiles!

Great friendly service. The food was amazing and it came fairly quick. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Just finished my leftovers and it was just as good as last night. If you're craving good Mexican food, this is a must visit.Kid-friendliness: There is a decent kids menu with items like chicken fingers.
