Best French Onion Soup I have ever had. Pizza is also excellent, best tomato sauce ever and the crust melts in your mouth. Awesome place looks like it was recently renovated. My wife and I will be back again soon.

This Brooks Alberta neighbourhood pub has the best pizza in Southeastern Alberta. It rivals the greats such Atlas pizza and Crispy Crust pizza in YYC. I'll be back.

Completely deserving of its three star reviews. Dramatically overpriced for what is basically a pub. Everything was way too salty, mashed potatoes that are pasty and from a box. a very uninspired meal. Server was friendly with a big smile.
The food is delicious, but. If you have an hour and a half to wait for an appetizer... You'll love it here If you have an hour to wait for the wrong order... You'll love it here. Beer is cold.

Showed up at 12:30 pm. Only 2 other tables. Ok cool service should be fast. Wrong. 40 minutes later the food finally came. A table of 6 that was there before us still waiting for food. The deluxe chicken sandwich cheaper than the other chicken sandwich and the only extra was bacon. The beef dip good amou t of beef on it. But different bread and possibly get it toasted. Very dim lighting and a pile of old appilances in the corner. We almost walked out and left. Food was good but that was it.

Working in the area, asked a few locals if there was a good local restaurant with a decent menu. The recommendations were unanimous in Gus's Steak & Pizza. On a Thursday, at dinner time, and the pub is quietly busy. Games on the TVs, a little music you can easily have a conversation over top of. I ordered from the steak options...a peppercorn steak meal. Oh my!! Generous, thick cut of perfectly cooked beef with salad, baked potato that came with all the toppings that you can dress it up yourself and some diced carrots in garlic butter. F-BOMBING FANTASTIC meal. Home made, in house, and the kitchen staff absolutely know what they are doing. Front house staff on point and pleasant, engaging with all the customers and quick with refills and table service. If you are in the area for work, bring the crew.. sports tourney? bring the team, celebrating with your better half??...bring 'em. You can't miss this spot.

Upon arriving at about 8:30pm on a Tuesday, we were informed by the bartender that the kitchen was closed.. to our delight the kitchen manager was in ear shot and let us order still! Great food & service!! 12/10 would recommend to a friend & will be back again!
