We pulled up it smelled like smoking pellets, it was foodie aromatherapy. After entering, it's definitely felt like an authentic BBQ house. Soul music.
They make their rubs, sauces, baking goods, marinades, salads, drinks, and sides all in house and from scratch. I could eat pretty much anything on the menu but decided on the brisket poutine and a side coleslaw. It was enough food for 3 people and the price was around $25. They definitely balanced all the flavors of the dish, it was dense but didn't feel cheap or heavy. The hubby had a "Delicious brisket sandwich" which he loved.
We agreed it is definitely somewhere we want to come back. I want to try the gluten-free fried chicken!!

The best smoked meat meals around! Heck anywhere ! Hometime has superb tasting food and good service. The bakery is top notch and the coffee surpasses Starbucks! Everyone should try hometime BBQ and bakery you will not regret it! It's a must see.
They were in the midst of training a new waitress so we did have to order at the counter, but they still brought the food to our table. Chicken burger was delicious, fries were delicious, gravy was very smoky flavoured. Kids meal portion was HUGE. ribs were also delicious! We would definitely go back and try some more items on the menu!

This place is seriously underrated. The food, service, large portions, and price cannot be beat in Brooks. Paid $55 (pre tip) for 2 adults and 3 kids, and had plenty leftover. Yes Wendy’s is probably a little cheaper but you’re not gonna get the same food experience.

Great food. Ordering and paying always makes me feel like I did something wrong or that I'm stupid. I love brisket, but I don't love brisket with uncomfortable vibes, so we stopped going.

A must stop in Brooks. Family chicken dinner with cookies was out favorite so far. Delicious smoked meats, fresh buns. Zesty pickles and slaw. The bakery next door is superb. Swirly buns and hand pies are the best in Brooks. Always new and seasonal flavors for sourdough. Go. Thank me later.
