It's a really good place to get food, inside a gas station. I've been stopping in here for years when I'm traveling through. They have a little bit of everything so everyone can find something to eat. The fried chicken and fries are always great. Good selection of sandwiches. They have fruit and veggie trays and dessert trays.

This is a crazy story, but I am from Edmonton and while on a road trip I found a kitten abandoned and injured on the side of a highway. I came in red basket/mobil last night August 29th at 8:30 looking for cat food and water. Beya (Baya? I don't know how it is spelled) was a worker there. She was an absolute angel. She showed so much compassion, and helped us find a bowl of water for the kitty. She deserves a raise for going above and beyond.

Before i say anything, i love gas stations, they have such a unique feel to them not seen anywhere else.
this place is the chocolate banana bread capital, when i get some there, it always ends up being too much, and that's ok because its banana bread? WHO DOESNT LIKE BANANA BREAD?
Kid-friendliness: It's honestly just like any other gas station, if you keep YOUR crotch goblins in control yourself, it'll be just fine.

When I walked into the store, all I could hear was the employees talking loudly in a foreign language to each other and customers across the store. The staff consistently speaks a different language to each other when on shift, and even when helping customers. I was ignored by staff in favor of helping people behind me that spoke the same language as the staff, then 2 others walked away and ignored me. After waving down another employee I asked for the 3 piece chicken special that they are promoting, but they had no chicken cooked and none being cooked. Was told they could find a person to cook it and see how long it would take, but it would be a wait. At 12:30 in the afternoon, how does a place promoting a chicken special not have any chicken for lunch? The service has gone downhill in the last few years.

If you’re looking for a quick lunch for at home or while on the road working or just working in general this is the BEST spot you can go. They made the food fresh daily and they have plenty of options for a great price I love this place. My only complaint is that it’s only available in brooks and nowhere else in Canada. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!
