Before i say anything, i love gas stations, they have such a unique feel to them not seen anywhere else.
this place is the chocolate banana bread capital, when i get some there, it always ends up being too much, and that's ok because its banana bread? WHO DOESNT LIKE BANANA BREAD?
Kid-friendliness: It's honestly just like any other gas station, if you keep YOUR crotch goblins in control yourself, it'll be just fine.

When I walked into the store, all I could hear was the employees talking loudly in a foreign language to each other and customers across the store. The staff consistently speaks a different language to each other when on shift, and even when helping customers. I was ignored by staff in favor of helping people behind me that spoke the same language as the staff, then 2 others walked away and ignored me. After waving down another employee I asked for the 3 piece chicken special that they are promoting, but they had no chicken cooked and none being cooked. Was told they could find a person to cook it and see how long it would take, but it would be a wait. At 12:30 in the afternoon, how does a place promoting a chicken special not have any chicken for lunch? The service has gone downhill in the last few years.

If you’re looking for a quick lunch for at home or while on the road working or just working in general this is the BEST spot you can go. They made the food fresh daily and they have plenty of options for a great price I love this place. My only complaint is that it’s only available in brooks and nowhere else in Canada. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

Would normally give a 5 star as the employees are wonderfully friendly. But 9 times out of 10. We go in just for the chicken and at around 6pm. You'd think the warmer would be freshly stocked.but is always empty. Kinda disappointing.

Red Basket helps a lot of people out who don't want to make a lunch the night before. Aside from the cheap gloves, the prices are a little steep.
Parking: The parking lot is sufficient for anyone coming and going, but theres a ton of potholes that could be filled in beside the day parking area.

WOW!! Just wow! Selection was insane. Lots to choose from. Very impressed!!

Unbelievable selection of grab n go type food, which was exactly what I needed as I was on a long drive for a business trip. Fabulous if you are heading for a day trip close-by you can pick up all you'd need for a great picnic!! I was really impressed at the food choices, everything from muffins, cake, cookies, to salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc etc etc with very fair prices! And, they even cook up full on-the/go breakfasts every morning! They are open super late, maybe even 24 hrs, not sure but I was there quite late. On top of that, its also a convenience store so you can buy any essentials you may need as well. Very friendly helpful staff, highly recommend.
My favourite place in the whole city of Brooks. Their potato wedges are perfect, delicious and satisfying to eat, and their chicken is breaded with just the right amount of crunchiness. They have an excellent selection of beverages, and they even have a milkshake/smoothie machine as well as their own handmade frozen yogurt that they serve! Love it! 11/10
