We live in southwest and we drove across the city to eat at this restaurant just because of their food. It is not a restaurant specializing in dishes from certain area of China, instead they cook whatever dishes people like to eat such as Sichuan, northeast and hunan dishes.

Regulars who come here often (2 to 3 times a week) have tried all the dishes available too many times. The portions here are huge and filling, and the food is delicious. The food is served the fastest among Chinese restaurants in Calgary. The service is so good that regular customers can call and order all the dishes and come over to eat. They are always friendly and feel good when I come here. I recently went to Vancouver to eat and compare, and I once again realized that the level and cost-effectiveness of Li's Restaurant is still first-rate in Calgary. I personally like the pork liver and kidneys here, and the stir-fried seasonal vegetables are also a must-try. They used to have the lamb scorpion, which was delicious, but it’s out of stock. The hotpot pork is too ordinary and I can’t get used to it. However, I was very depressed once when the chef didn’t add salt to the braised chicken. I hope the restaurant can maintain this and not be too proud.

EXTREMELY RUDE! When we asked the cashier to split our bill into three separate payments, she responded with blatant rudeness, ROLLING HER EYES at us in a way that was both unprofessional and disrespectful. ?Her attitude completely soured our experience and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers!! It's disheartening when such poor customer service overshadows the quality of the food. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the way their staff interacts with customer! Extremely unpolite! ?
