Worst hot pot I've been to in calgary. The meat was chewy and mostly fat. The service was abysmal and we waited 20 minutes for rice. The water never checked on us, and took our menu away so we has to.request another for ordering... it's all you can eat, so why would he not give us a new ordering sheet right away... the place smelt like sewage and that bathroom was unusable. The only good thing was the broth selection and sauce bar. There are soooo many better options for hot pot, and those places likely aren't a health code violation waiting to happen. Also wayyy overpriced compared to other hot pot options in the city.

For the price of $34+GST, it’s not worth it. The service was great but there were only 2 tables for 3 servers so obviously it would be good. The variety of food is okay, the quality is fine too. BUT FOR $34+GST???? Not worth it. And there was only 1 other table in the whole restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night; probably because it’s so expensive for the quality.

You pick a broth (lots to choose from) and then check off which items you want. There is also a sauce bar and each person at the table has their own pot. The staff were attentive and very nice.

When I walked in the door with my dining partner, she looked a bit squeamish and to me that was the first great sign.
Having lived in Asia for over a decade, there are certain factors in a spot like this that contribute to the “authenticity score”. IYKYK
A bunch of those boxes were checked right after walking in the door.
We assumed it was a la carte before walking in but it’s predominantly and all you can eat 2 hour deal.
They have a decent selection of broths to choose from to get you started. I went with 九州豚骨 and she chose the herbal chicken.
The trick with a place like this is to order something super basic with the broth. The sauce bar has a world of ingredients to choose from so you can make all your own modifications to the broth afterward.
The selections on the menu are very decent. The beef cuts for example are great with a lot of marbling.
Knocked out round one and by that point had the broth nicely modified with lots of flavour packed in.
With the amount of selection and time you’re given, there’s no way you’re walking out of there hungry.
I ordered the sour plum drink. It’s Asia sour so not really sour at all. I almost wanted to hit it with some vinegar from the sauce bar. Still good though.
Come here and enjoy yourself if you don’t think chicken balls and red sauce is something you should see on the menu.
Will totally go back some time.

Went here with a few friends. I saw some bad reviews and I was worried but I am pleased to announce that this place is great. The service was really good and the food was tasty. Definitely recommend.

Overall not the best ayce hot pot. Although the vegetables were okay, the meats were really disappointing, and as many have said, they were FAR from being fresh. The beef literally turns black when u cook it and it has a sour taste to it, not to mention the general overprice. On top of all these, the employee initially said that everyone can split the tip, but turns out each individual had to pay a whole tip. Wouldn't come again
