Lovely neighbourhood spot for delicious comfort food in a casual setting. We have been coming here for a few years, and we always leave with happy bellies and big smiles.
The food is great, but it’s sometimes inconsistent depending on the day and time. Recently, we dined in on their Monday pizza night, and the place was jam-packed and bumpin’. The pizzas were fresh and delicious - and half off as a bonus…excellent value. The burger, fries, and prawn tacos were pretty good as well, although they have been better when ordered in the afternoon.
Our server was super friendly and kind, although more staff would probably help with their availability and attentiveness. If you plan on dining in on their weekly special evenings, give yourself lots of time to sit and relax.
The owners are very generous and give back to the community through donations, which we greatly appreciate.
Overall, we love 4th Spot, and we look forward to coming back!
Good food and decent portion sizes
We had an enjoyable lunch.
Clean, open, fun restaurant. Staff are always so kind and friendly.
Everything about my experience here was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, and poiite, but not too intrusive which is always a nice touch. The food was excellent, I had a burger and it was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour. Had a bite of my partner's pizza and that was just as tasty! Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nice time out with amazing food and a great atmosphere.
It was quite busy when we went, so maybe book in advance 8f you don't want to risk waiting, it's a popular place and there's a very good reason for that.
I had been here before, a few years ago and expected the same vibe and quality food we had then, but was sadly disappointed. Our reservation gave us a table just beside the kitchen, back in a corner. There were several other unoccupied tables and we were strongly discouraged by 2 servers at the door from taking any other table because they were all “ reserved”. We persevered and were told we could we take another table but we had to be out of there by 5:30 ( an hour later). We were rushed thru our meal, which nobody really enjoyed, so that our table could be ready for the next group. Not an enjoyable start to a family birthday dinner. Food was bland - certainly not the standard we expected. Nobody felt satisfied with their meal except the 2 year old who enjoyed the Mac & cheese. The quesadilla I had was dry and tasteless. The worst was the attitude of the 2 servers who we dealt with when we arrived. Those 2 ladies were outright rude and disrespectful. Had it not been a special occasion, I would have just walked out and gone somewhere else. Thanks 4 Spot for a terrible experience.
This restaurant used to be amazing! A wonderful neighbourhood establishment. Unfortunately, though, it has for years been plagued by a fatal flaw: unbelievably, inexplicably, painfully slow service. After covid, we tried many many times
to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they’ve just never ever solved the problem. Today we waited more than an hour for our meals. Sadly, despite many fun memories at this restaurant, we decided it’s time to cut the cord. There are lots of great options in the neighbourhood these days. Unless there’s clear evidence that things have FINALLY changed for the better, I’ll be going elsewhere.
Always been a great time with great food! There was a ton of bruschetta and a ton of bread the portion size was amazing
Phenomenal place, definitely shop the daily deals. The wing/wine Wednesday and Monday pizza are busy days.
We are new to Calgary and heard nothing but rave reviews about 4th spot, so of course being foodies we had to check it out.
The resturaunt has a nice patio out front and a resturaunt area and a pub up top. We had our 1.5 yr old with us as people stated it is an amazing kid friendly place.
We were seated quickly, but it took 10 min for us to get our drink orders in, in which we ordered our food at the same time as our baby was getting tired. The place didn't seem overly crowded but extremely understaffed. Thank goodness I had snacks in my bag for my baby as it took almost 50 min to get our 3 meals.
My daughter had the pulled pork mac n cheese it was to die for so delicious!
I had the chicken souvlaki on a pita with fries and gravy. My fries were unfortunately cold and my pita was a bit hard but the garlic hummus was 🤤 and the gravy had a hint of sweet flavor to it.
My guy had the maple burger it was delicious as well, and unfortunately his fries were cold as well. We just ate them and didn't complain as the server stated they were short staffed.
Over all the food was good, but the service could be better.

Regretfully giving this 3 stars, in the past it’s deserved its 4.5 star average with excellent food. Tonight our party of 4 had a variety of things - pasta, wings, a burger and ribs. Only the ribs were truly enjoyed. The pasta was particularly poor. At 22-30 dollar a plate price point this is not good enough.
Service remains good to great and the vibe is family/community friendly. We have been coming for years and I’ve left a positive review in the past. Will likely give them another try in 6-12 months but if it disappoints I don’t think we will come back.
This place never disappoints. Don't change a thing. Perfect every time we come back. Thanks
Great service and evening. Two plates were delivered with cold food but the problem was rectified very quickly. All food was tasty and all other plates served hot. GREAT SERVICE! The four Margaritas did not taste like a margarita. Lacked lime, tequila and cointreau flavor. Very watered down.
Food is good but it took almost an hour to get it on the table.
We stumbled in during happy hour: 2 to 5, which is different in our experience, but welcome. The beef tacos were exceptional, and the pesto was good as well. Portions were generous, and the staff were feiendly.
