Such a chilling spot and all The dishes we had were so good can’t wait to go back! Dumplings were tasty, loved the jfc nice and light with lots of flavor. The classic ramen bowl was a hit as well so fresh and tasty.

Super delicious ! It was my first time trying it, and I will definitely be back. The dumplings were really juicy and the classic poke with the cold Ramen noodles was so good. The Japanese fried chicken also can’t be missed. Chatted to the owner who is really lovely and super relaxed.

Greta vibe. Staff is friendly and the food is tasty. My fav is the chilli goma JFK. The patio is pet friendly and there is always fresh water out front and ample treats inside for your furry family! Highly recommend.

edit 2: Owner edited their original response saying their restaurant isn't for everyone. Instead of editing bitter responses to the (numerous) bad reviews the owner should invest their time in learning how to prepare the food that is on their menu.
This place comes across as more of a hangout drinking spot for the chef and his buds... and their pets. Nice patio outside for a beer but the dining room is dingy.
Food honestly punches well below the standard for Japanese food available in Calgary. Go to a real Izakaya, Ramen, or Sushi shop if you're looking for Japanese food.
