I had an amazing experience at 5 Senses Ramen and Sushi in Calgary! The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The ramen was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh toppings. The sushi selection was also top-notch, showcasing beautiful presentation and exquisite taste. Every bite was a delight! I highly recommend 5 Senses for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Calgary. I can’t wait to return!

abysmal abysmal abysmal ramen do not get it here. There are two other stores like right next door that are MILES better in terms of ramen. It was bland, the noodles were like instant noodles noodles. In the broth, there was meat scum. To be frank, I’m not sure what kind of ramen they were copying, because it is laughably bad when they use sliced in order to make the broth, and leave the MEAT SCUM.
Their poke bowls are alright, other than the fact that the rice is a little stale. The fish is relatively fresh however and it’s overall pretty tasty, although the value is questionable.
The fries make it somehow not a 1 star place. The sauce they include is heavenly.

A ramen restaurant with no Asian workers at all? Should’ve been the first red flag.
Food: broth lacked flavour, meat had a weird smell, meat was also dry. Server cleaned up tables without wiping. Cook blew his nose and washed his hands without soap, I almost puked. Cook was on his phone inbetween preparing the food and touched the food coming out the over barehands without washing his hands after touching the phone.
Also had upset stomach 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant. Will never come back.
I arrived alone soon after opening. I received the best service and as a single "at the bar" customer I would gage the perfect amount of interaction. Drinks were served promptly with the food soon after. Good Ramen!! Broth is full and coating. Not stellar noods (but I'd say maybe not bitey enough for me) but as I said the broth was deep and when allowed fatty enough to coat everything ??. Sitting at the bar allowed a customer to enjoy the energy of the kitchen in front of them but be as involved as they wished (i wished as i ordered sake). It was very vibrant or even local/social place alternaively you can just enjoy yourself and watch and let 17th Ave wash over you as you have one of the best chefs and waiting staffs I've ever met just chill and serve you. Amazing location,amazing food, genuine people . Fantastic diversity within the location. 6 stars!!
