As much as we enjoyed chatting with the owner, we felt that there were too many items that were missing from our experience. Before I made the reservation ( while speaking with the owner in person) i asked if they had wine. The answer was clearly yes. So, when we came back an hour later for our dinner, we were disappointed to find out that this did not mean that they had any "White" wine. The owner claimed that since they were not very busy, they were out of white wine. So, my wife ordered a club soda. No soda at this restaurant. The only water they could offer was bottled water. I settled for a Corona beer, which came without the requisite wedge of lime. I turned away the beer glass which had clearly been warmed up in the sun or some other hot zone. No sense ruining a good cold beer. For appies we decided on one order of veggie spring rolls, and an order of Teryaki Shrimp tempura. When the appies came, there were only four shrimp but there were ten spring rolls. The owner explained that because they had run out of shrimp, they were adding more spring rolls. And, we were unable to detect even a hint of Teryaki on the shrimp. Oh well, when our Halibut and French Fries showed up, at least they were good and made up for the other hiccups experienced during the evening.

Sorry to say but yeah, is one of the worst places I have ever ate, -Slow service.-No prices on their menu.-No taste on their food. Too disapointing to see what we got.Not mentioning the $73 Dls bill for 1 Bowl of sour water, wich is definetly NOT TAMARIND as they pledge.1 Grilled tilapia which taste I prefer not to describe.I wish I could warn people to spare them from such a bad experience.

Been here a couple of time and 7seas has hands down some good filipino food. However, they’re all after the money. Every time I would come by, either dine in or take out, they would always over-charge me with at least $10 without even letting me know why (and that’s alongside the 10% grat. charge). Service is always slow and food is way over-priced. I’d only come back here for their sisig.

I found the food was very good they got a new cook and anyone with with any complaints should say something so they can fix it if they don’t know they can’t fix it but it’s been very good food every time i eat from there

We were greeted at the door with a big smile from Shyla and seated immediately. it’s a small restaurant but bright paintings and a fish tank surround you with colour and warmth. The menu is quite Interesting with lots of seafood options.. we went for the stuffed squid...delicious, not chewy and the grilled beef ribs with the homemade spicy sauce incredible !! I will be back to try the seafood platter a mixture of seafood and bbq. Great food and service.

Agree with the other person about the Beef soup. Very skinny pieces of beef with mostly fat on them and not many pieces anyways. Basically it is over $18 for a 2 cups of vegetable soup. Used to be better there 10 years ago. I called and they said it is the same but it most definitely is not. Terrible service small portions and VERY high prices. They give Filipinos a bad name. They will be out of business soon. This store might be a front for drugs though. Who knows.

The pansit was really tasty! The service was quick too. I'm really puzzled by the negative reviews, they didn't align with my experience at all.

Awful and dishonest staff, overcharged $10 dollar for a dish and refused to corrected it. poor service. Never back to this dishonest store again.

And that's me!

If your craving for filipino food, go somewhere else. Taste Awful, Expensive, super bad service. Try it if you dare.

They couldn't tell me how much a serving of muscles weighed, I asked if it was like an appetizer or like a full serving and then they got frustrated and hung up... poor service at best, I got no service!

Changed ownership. Food quality suffered. Service was also bad. Go to Max's Restaurant in Sunridge instead, if you're looking for better Filipino food in Calgary.
