I left without a full review! We had a client entertain us for the holidays at Anejo on Saturday night. The service all evening was fantastic, didnt see an empty glass (water of course) all night. The appetizers made way to family style table food and it was amazingly fresh and authentic tasting. I will definitely be back with my family to enjoy the menu.
For those of you familiar with the old 4th Street Rose location this is just a terrific spot. I'm not sure what I was expecting...but I was expecting more from the food. The temperature of the food was on the cool side and the seasoning what's unremarkable. One standout exception was their guacamole which was absolutely perfect. The service was extraordinary however thus ensuring we'll give this another go for sure. I'm no foodie so my comments about the food should be taken with a grain of salt lol. I do know a lot about service and this was very well done.

The tacos at Añejo Restaurant are some of the best I've had in Calgary. I highly recommend the Tinga Chicken Taco, the Pork Taco, and the Mushroom Taco - each one was absolutely delicious. The guacamole was prepared right at our table, and was outstanding. The churros were a dream - crispy and sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Service was impressively fast and friendly. Congratulations to the team for delivering such a great lunch experience!.
