A Ladybug Bakery and Cafe

My new favourite bakery! The pastries are sooo flaky and yummy, reminds me of Paris. Love the cruffins (croissant wrapped in a mouse, I didn’t think I’d like it but it turned out to be favourite!), lemon tart, and almond croissant. Not too sweet and not too heavy. Have only tried take out but will need to try the restaurant next time.

Their breakfast sammy and potato pancakes are one of my fave breakfasts. I ordered through a delivery app and it was still 10/10. Great food.

Came in 10 min before they close. Just wanted a soup and they (3 of them) jumped on me immediately saying sorry we are closing in 10 min. I work in restaurant hospitality. Any guest who comes in before we close is a welcome guest. Period. Don’t waste your money here. Much better service elsewhere. After coming here for 10 years I’ll never support this business again. Teach your staff proper customer service!

I've been coming here for years. Last time and the time prior I had the same experience and I thought it was just an off day. But this is the third time with different people I've gone. The service used to be super attentive but now it's downhill. My friend tried to talk to the busser and she completely ignored her, I don't think this was intentional but it really annoyed my friend. The waitress never refilled our water at all, we drank all of the water that was initially at our table.
The potatos tasted like they were fried in old oil and they were cold and half cooked. This happened last time with my partners potato pancake so I went with the wedges. I was disappointed to find out the same result but different side. When my friend brought up her potatos weren't fully cooked the waitress offered a to go container. The eggs bene was still really good just disappointed in the service and sides.
It wasn't super busy this time we went either but the staff seemed burnt out so we didn't really give them a hard time.
Don't know when I'll be back again.. probably not for a while.
Seasonal drinks were fantastic though!

This place was sooo yummy! I had a raspberry crepe and it was so good! The fruit was fresh and the orange juice was even better!

Great little diner. Love their pastries. There brunch menu is also good. Food prices varies some are good prices some are over the 20$ mark

I absolutely love the food at this place and the service is always great… but the amount of flies is absurd. There were multiple flies landing on the food on our table and there were more flying around us. I hope to keep coming back but as long as the flies are handled😬

I usually never leave reviews cause it’s not worth my time but the food here tasted horrible. My gf and I ordered uber eats, I got the aspen burger (smallest, flattest burger I’ve ever eaten) and she got crepes which were not the worst.

The potato wedges had zero flavor to them, just dry potatoes, and we got an upsell of chicken sausage for $6 and gave us 3 tiny quarter sized sausages.

Not eating here again.

Very unpleasant experience, I seat in less than an hour, they start to kick me out, because of they had a reservation waiting. But I haven’t finish my food. And they told those people who’s waiting, we been there for 3 hrs. This is not how you treat customers, and lying to other customers is not acceptable. I will never come back again.

OMG this place is wonderful. We had croissants and they were fresh and flakes just like they should be. Our neighbouring table had lox on a bed of greens. There were some incredible eggs bunnies being delivered to the tables all around us. We are definitely coming back for Sunday

A very nice place to have a quality sit-down meal with a friend to catch up over brunch! Always a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere at Ladybug and their quality of food is just fantastic! If a sit down meal isn’t in the books, this place is easily a come and pick up your treat location! Plenty of fresh baked goods with tons of frozen take-home options, too!
