Had a great experience at A Taste of Saigon!

Food arrived quickly and was delicious, I had a single shrimp salad roll and the lemongrass chicken vermicelli. It was flavourful and I loved all the herbs.

I ate everything and the staff was lovely! I'd recommend it.

My kids and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. We have always enjoyed every dish we have ordered. They have many different teas, drinks and dishes not found anywhere else. The kids are grown and now go there on their own.

They said they’re closed on Tuesday, but on Monday, when they were supposed to open at 12, they still didn’t open. I don’t know if it’s a problem with Google’s updates or if the store is just that casual about opening whenever they feel like it. Either way, I won’t be coming back again 🥲 because it gave me an extremely poor service experience.

We ordered chicken house fried rice for our toddlers and it was delicious! The kids ate so well and the portion was huge! It also had a lot of vegetables and chicken in it. We’ll be back!

The BEST Vietnamese food in Calgary! Hands down our first choice when eating out! Tommy and his staff are amazing, they are always quick, engaging and so passionate about their restaurant!

Bonked during a bike ride. Found this place. Excellent service. Allowed mr to keep my bike in the restaurant. Had the ramen and it was tasty!

The service is slow--with one lackadaisical guy (who doesn't seem too into his job) serving--but the food makes it worth a visit every time! It's simply delicious. To be clear, I don't mind waiting a long time for good food. It's the slowness of the service--often have to go looking for the guy to get napkins, order a drink etc. He's seems very uninterested. Still worth a visit for the food.

Great pho ! Broth is very tasty.

The food was good, but the service was horrible. The server was rude and not attentive. He sounded so annoyed if we asked for anything.

I've been ordering from here for many years. I've always enjoyed the food. Be aware they are closed on Tuesdays and they close down for family vacations.

The poor reviews are disheartening. I can’t comment on other people’s experiences from years or months ago but I’ve had nothing but superb experience at this place.

We know it’s a family run business and we know that the food is consistently slow, but we know this so we always plan ahead and warn our friends so they know to expect this.

In terms of food, the portions are bigger than expected and I don’t think Ive disliked anything on the menu (i’ve tried at least 3 items from each menu category.

Our friends who dine with us for the first time are always surprised at the portions and find the food delicious and comforting.

I’d say this place is one of our favourite joints.
