A&W Canada

Here in Calgary all the A@W restaurants will let you use corporate coupons and let you keep the coupons afterwards to use on another day. This A@W in Market Mall will keep the coupons so you can’t use it again so forcing customers to pay the full price the next time use this food kiosk. When I asked the manager why this store keeps the coupons he had no answer , he said this coming from the owner of this franchise. I ask for the owners info, the manager refusesd to give me that info. I suggest if you like to keep the coupons afterwards eat at different A@W they all will give the coupons back. Not this place

Went here during New Year’s Eve and there were only two people working as cashiers. There was a whole line and I think some orders got mixed up which messed things up. They switched positions and handled the situation flawlessly through the chaos. The workers were still nice and still continued to give customers what they want. The mama burger combo deal was fantastic as well. Tasted amazing and really cheap during game day. Fantastic job.

The DUB continues to have one of the best standard issue breakfasts around. Market Mall location food came out HOT which is always a plus. Nothing is worse than a cold gummy hash brown, mine was crispy and hot. One disappointment is wooden utensils which wreck the taste. It’s more than beyond time we reject this lunacy. Forks pictured are wooden vs compostable plastic other vendors offer. Also asked for peanut butter yet got one and jam. Not what I requested ON PURPOSE. Other thing a plus at A&W is their order board which show where your order is in the queue. McDs always clear their boards to game service time.

Yesterday afternoon I came here to get food..While I was ordering a man was interrupting the cashier who was taking my order...Later on I heard someone yelling at them in a language I also understand. He was saying things like 'Do better at your job!' And 'You are just standing there!'...When he gave out the food he slammed the tray on the counter...One of the cashiers jumped because she was shocked. Then he shouted my number and walked a away... The girl called me over and said my food was ready and she apologized when she saw I witnessed everything..I asked her who that man was and why he was so angry...She told me he was the manager and maybe he was having a bad day. A bad day? If he is the manager he should not treat the workers like this. He should try to help them.. Not yell and throw food around because he is mad. Very disappointing and disrespectful. I will not comeback here agan.

Ordered coffee and apple pie Employee hands me apple pie in my hand. When asked for a tray because I had ordered coffee she took a tray and slammed it hard and walked away muttering something
I asked one of the other employees her name and she came back to ask why I wanted her name. And reluctantly gave it as Daphne whether real or not? I eat my lunch there every Friday. You’ve lost a customer.

If you’re craving a burger that actually tastes like happiness, this place delivers. The patty was perfectly juicy, grilled just right, and packed with flavor, not that oily, overcooked type you get elsewhere. The buns were soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without falling apart.

Worst coffee and very bad attitude from the staff. Kind of profiling happens, when you ask for a coffee, you’re asked if you want Masala burger and other similar ones.. 😏and not the best sellers ..

I have been coming here for years. The staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and courteous. They call me by name. They are extremely efficient.

The guy on cash was texting on his phone throughout my order. Then when I had to correct him on every detail because he hadn’t listened, he rang the bell and walked away telling me to tap my card.

When I received me order it was a mess. I went and asked the women who gave it to me how I go about collecting my points she said it was too late. Her attitude was this isn’t my problem and definitely not hers.

I really like A&W and I even have shares in the business. A true disappointment and a terrible representation of the brand and their product. I would never go again.

The food was terrible. The app said that some of the food might have come into contact with fish. I thought it was nothing to worry about. But the food tasted like rotten fish, and it definitely shouldn't be sold. How could anyone eat it?
