Very friendly service. But we did not like the ice cream. Too sweet and not very creamy. We had vanilla, did not like the flavor, very artificial. Passionfruit was very sweet and artificial too. German Chocolate was ok and I also liked the sour cherry. They do not use fresh fruit in their ice creams.

I had a plain waffle cone with the salted caramel and fudge ice cream. I struggled to taste any flavour.. like zero flavor ..and to make it worse I paid way too much for a single cone. Won’t be back. I can see why this place is popular with children, what with all the choices of candies and toppings, it makes up for the fact that the ice cream has no flavor.

Amazing ice cream with unlimited toppings to mix into ice cream. We got the double waffle bowl and the serving size was huge! Halo halo flavor was our favourite. The owners are super nice and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

I love their large selection of flavours including some niche ones like pandan and ube. It's funny how I've come here twice and never realized that the selling feature of Abbey's is their mix ins. I've never gotten their mix ins because I always thought it was an extra cost but that's entirely my fault. Learn from my repeated mistake and choose some mix in toppings! Without the mix ins to make it special, the ice cream itself is pretty average. The ice cream definitely doesn't compare in terms of quality to an artisanal creamery, but that's alright because their selling point is in the quantity of flavours you can choose from and being able to make your unique scoop with your toppings and cone of choice.The staff were kind and gave me a cup of water when I asked so that I could take a lactase pill. All my fellow lactose intolerant ice cream lovers can appreciate what a big deal that is.Also their Rainbow Fantasy looked like the Super Hero ice cream flavour of my childhood but it did NOT taste like the nostalgic super hero flavour I remember so don't get Rainbow Fantasy with that expectation.

Extremely disappointed. We've been coming here regularly since they opened. Service isn't always great and ice-cream is average, but we like supporting small businesses. My son was excited to get a free ice-cream cone on his birthday (they offer this). We intended to buy an ice-cream cake and ice-cream sandwiches for his party. The owner immediately recognized us, as she always does. When my son asked about a b-day cone, the owner said "No" and suggested he sign up so he could get one next year. Seriously?! Surprisingly poor customer appreciation. We won't be back. We went to Made by Marcus to get his birthday cake. They wished him happy birthday and offered him a cone. They got it right.

Bought a $40 "cheesecake," brought it home and discovered it's not a cheesecake but an ice cream cake with cheesecake flavouring. Called the store to complain, spoke to Abbey, was promised a 50% store credit on my next visit. Stopped in to redeem and no record. Called Abbey and left a voicemail, no call back. Much better ice cream and customer service at Made By Marcus and Parlour.
Awesome ice cream with many flavours to chose from. The Sundays are also very good. There is something for everyone here.
