We had a wonderful high tea experience at Hawthorn. Our server Kaitlyn/Caitlyn shared her knowledge with the lot 35 tea choices and it was delightful. The sandwiches were light but filling. The sweets were delicately fabricated. The mocktails were also refreshingly made.

We attended high tea. It was grossly overpriced for what we got. The bread for the Sandwiches were stale. The cucumber sandwich was so thin it was soggy. The pastries were ok . It was almost like they had been sitting around for a while. The chairs was so used that you could see the stuffing in it. A bad look for since a beautiful hotel. The tea on the other hand and was excellent.

Tea was great! This was my second time here. Waitress was friendly and approachable. You get a black chocolate slice of cake if celebrating a special occasion.

A lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon. Our server Julie was fantastic and was prompt at filling hot water in the tea kettles and at explaining everything on the menu. They also have a good gluten-free selection as well for those with gluten allergies - just make sure to let them know beforehand.
I felt the number of items on the tiers were suitable for the price and a nice variety of items were given. The tea selection was great as well – I would recommend the rose black tea! Julie did a great job of explaining the origin of all of the tea.
The clotted cream and scones were to die for. Highly recommend!

Came here with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. I did notify them that she has sensory issues so they accommodated us by placing us in a quiet area next to the fireplace. The service was absolutely fantastic. They have a selection of teas that are custom curated only for the Fairmont. My daughter really enjoyed the princess Diana Rose tea. I enjoyed the Earl Gray cream tea. The sandwiches were really good, the portions were very large, and we were allowed to take home our leftovers. The food was very high quality! Overall this was an excellent experience, that my daughter really wanted to repeat very soon. Well done Fairmont!!!
