Dined here with a good friend and I’m so grateful for the new experience. I ordered the Efo Riro and finished it all. It was that good. The flavour immediately matched a scent I once caught in passing while someone was warming up a West African dish made with greens. I never forgot that rich aroma, and tasting it here brought the memory full circle. The dried fish base was the highlight of the stew. Anyway, I will stop right here.. you just have to try it for yourself one day.

Ordered food but decided to pick up myself today. I normally order via the delivery apps. I now drive 30 minutes to the location, only to be told the owner didn’t relay the order. I had to wait extra 15minutes. I love the food, but the wait was unnecessary, especially when I ordered online. The Caucasian cook was very polite though. Kindly fix this!

The staff were comfortable and attentive and the service was great.
The food, now the food was delicious and I forewarn you the portion sizes are dangerous. I truly think I could have shared my main course with my wife and we could both have still struggled. So don’t make our mistake of ordering too much!
The battered yam is my recommendation and was amazing. It was absolutely delicious and hearty with a wonder balance of flavours and when paired with their berry cocktail was truly a delight.
We had a chat with the main cook and she was informative and friendly and it was nice as always to put a face to the food that we enjoyed.
A staple of each of our return visits to Calgary and if we ever move here. A staple of our eating out.
Highly recommend anyone in the area local or from abroad to drop by and try the food out.

We went in to try authentic Nigerian food again. The first place we tried was a disappointment. But Ahinke was awesome. Welcomed my mother and I right away. Asked about spice levels. And even explained some of the food on the menu. We decided to go with one authentic meal and one fusion. Both were so good. And our drinks were incredible. Will definitely go back. Can't wait to try other foods off their menu.

The fufu and egusi were absolutely delicious – perfectly prepared and bursting with authentic Nigerian flavor. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. I had the shrimp fried rice w/ chicken and it was delicious! It was spicy but the heat and flavours were just right. Our group also shared the puff puff donuts and they were tasty. Our server was friendly and asked for feedback about the food.
For someone who's never tried Nigerian style food, I had a great experience and I would love to try the other menu items the next time I'm in town.
Best experience! I ordered some ofada sauce from this restaurant. The customer service was superb and they were so understanding and kind throughout the process. The sauce was lovely a bit too spicy but that’s the nature of the sauce. Really grateful for all their help and they have good portions!
