I've been working a block away from this place for over 6 months now and I have genuinely never seen this place open, despite walking past several times everyday. On Google it says you opened at 11am, and are currently open right now. It's 12:30pm and I just walked past and it is not open. There's even a sticker on the window that says "now open" but the actual "OPEN" sign is off and all the lights are off. I have walked past this place at different hours of the day, be it noon, 3pm, 6pm, etc. and I've never seen it open. At this point Google should say you're closed or temporarily closed, because to say you're open hasn't been true for months. I'm not even sure how there are reviews from a month ago because month ago you guys were still not open.

The owner here is SPECTACULAR! AMAZING service from hands down the sweetest, kindest man in the whole city. The restaurant is nice and quiet. And what we love most is that it's a dry restaurant, so you won't find boisterous and loud guests ruining a good conversation while you enjoy the shisha. We've been twice in a week already. Come down and try it out for yourselves!

I ordered a pizza and a shawarma platter from them. The pizza was good but the shawarma was not eatable. It was old rice and chicken was not grilled well all the salads and vegie was too old to describe not recommended at all.It was 14.99$.

*BEST HALAL BUFFET RESTAURANT IN CALGARY*As a Muslim student at the University of Calgary who has a limited budget, I needed to find a restaurant that was both halal and affordable. The food had to be delicious as well. After hearing about this restaurant from a friend, I immediately visited it.Food: The food was AMAZING! I ate almost 6 plates of food all by myself! I tried the Chicken Biryani, the Beef Kebabs, the Chicken Tandoori, the Butter Chicken, the Plain Rice, the Lentil Soup, the Goat Curry, and the Desserts as well! Everything tasted amazing.Customer Service: The customer service was really nice. The waiter called me "Hi Boss" and this made me feel really special. Thank you for that.Price: The all-you-can-eat buffet is very affordable, especially for students. The cost was $17 including taxes for the buffet in January 2020. There is no shisha or other haraam items on the menu, so this is a very family friendly place!Location: The location is very convenient. It's in downtown Calgary. It is also very close to the mosque. So, after eating there, I immediately prayed at the Downtown Calgary mosque nearby and thanked Allah (swt) for His blessings.THANK YOU AL-QUDS HALAL BUFFET RESTAURANT! You are #1!

Itx nice restraunt for halal food if you are lookin in calgary downtown... Try its buffet it is cheap, rather then buyin one or two items that might cost more so beter to go for buffet and there is lot of variety in it.
