Aleppo Shawarma and Donair

Dishonest deceptive employees. Ordered large donair barely any meat on it. Touching food with bare hands coming from the cash registry. Wont be coming back here anymore.

These are two large chicken shawarma platters. I think they ran out of food today so sent us leftovers. Will not return to Aleppo, after this pathetic experience. Do not rip people off by putting buy 1 get 1 deals and giving one meal portion in two boxes. Ordered thru uber eats. On top of that They charged us extra 3 dollars to make it large size meal. Shame on you aleppo and uber eats!

The most terrible shawarma. The meat is burnt and bitter. Instead of vegetables, just cabbage. If you like to eat burnt meat with cabbage in pita bread, then this shawarma is for you.

Dishonest pricing!!! on DoorDash (for Regular Beef Donair) they charge 2 for $19.99 but in store they charge 1 for $12.49. Other restaraunts give real “2 for 1” pricing. This doesn’t feel like a deal at all

The chicken was so bland I couldn’t even eat half the plate. The salad was weirdly sticky. There were three 1cm slices of potatoes in the platter which costs $23. The hummus left a weird taste in my mouth. The rice was sticky rice. Awful food. Never going back.

I miss this place, I lived un Calgary few years ago and usted to come to this place for the best shawarma wrap I've ever tried.
The owner (not sure if still the same gentleman) was so generous with the portioms.

This is the best shawarma place in Calgary. The portion size is HUGE and the meat is VERY flavorful. Unlike other bland shawarmas in town. And they accept American Express.

I recommend the donair and traditional shawarma (shawarma bites).

I sent my brother in this past Tuesday on September 4th to pick up some beef donairs, it was buy one get one free at the time, which would have been an amazing deal. Yes my brother was dumb to not bring up the offer when he ordered, but I was astonished to find that we paid full price for three beef donairs with no mention from the staff about this ongoing offer.

It would have made sense for them to at least mention the buy one get one free offer and to have suggested for us to get four for the price of two, or at the very, very least given us one free with the purchase of two, but no, no mention of anything whatsoever, even having tipped the standard 15% for take out. This was extremely disappointing to me and left me feeling cheated.

The wraps themselves were pretty decent, and it was enjoyable, not to mention that the ingredients were fresh. However, I cannot get over the extreme lack of courtesy that this place had to offer.

Reply to owner: I do understand that it was for a mobile app offer, but I do think it would have been great to mention that when my brother (again I don't disagree he was dumb for not mentioning anything) went in to order, even if it would be for a future reference, especially given that he is young and technologically ept. I do very much appreciate you for getting back to me, I will change my rating to be more positive and hopefully I have a better experience when I go in to order next time!
