I ordered the Chicken Platter. I was O.K. but pretty much tasteless. It came with French Fries, rather than roasted potatoes which I like about a platter. The rice is just plain rice, rather than a curried or spiced. The side little "salad" was plain also, and the dressing of it was tasteless. I've ordered the same thing in Kensington as well as the Shwarma down the street and they usually come with roasted potatoes. About $20 overall. I'm a regular at the Shwarma down the road, about a block North but I've seen this place a lot so I thought I'd give it a try. The Chap at the counter was nice and the place is cozy but the platter was pretty much forgettable. I'm not a connoisseur of Shwarma but I like Mediterranean food and this was kinda a poor representation. Over all, maybe not the platters at this place. I can't seeing that I'd venture out on a chilly night just to take something home that's pretty disappointing. Oh, and I'm seeing more of a trend at Shwarma take out places... one person in the place to cook, serve and order from. It seems to be more common and you "REALLY" have to like the food to wait to order above the Door Dash meals ahead of you. Sorry Alibaba, it's the food not the place or the people.

Basic, utilitarian place serving the community and local employees for quite a few years. The Chapli kabab was basically a couple of spiced hamburger patties. Tastes nice, but missing most of the earthy chapli spices - a simple version for the western palate. It's a one man operation, so don't expect too much.
Vegetarian options: A kabab restaurant is not the best place for vegetarian food.
Parking: Try to park on one of the side streets.

Friendly service and the food is delicious. It's a little different than other donair places which I appreciate. I like how you get fries with your platter and some greens too. Nice mix.
Genuinely, hands down, the BEST shawarma wrap I have ever eaten. The flavour is amazing and far from bland, and the portion sizes are absolutely perfect. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the drink selection is one of the best around. Definitely a new regular spot for me, without a doubt
