My wife and I ordered Lamb chops. They were tiny and not very tasty—mostly fat and grizzly. Appies were good. My wife had a salad that was OK. Overall, I expected more.

Alloy was, as usual, very good. Service and food were excellent. Our table, one of the booths near the door, backed into another and was thus a little noisier - made conversation a little bit difficult, but not terrible.

Food was absolutely horrible. Had the short ribs which were so salty and tough that we could no teat them. Dessert was overly sweet and not very good as well. Service was excellent however.

Incredible experience at Alloy last week. I've never been there before so this was a first visit for me. I was there with my wife and another couple and all of us raved about the delicious dinner plus the free hummus appetizer was amazing. I'm not one to get excited about hummus but it truly was the best. Our server was excellent as well. I will absolutely go back!

I know that I'm a ‘hard marker' so take these comments with this in mind. I have zero problem with paying for good food... this said, much like Spiderman's homage (with great power comes great responsibility) so too is there a mantra for restaurants (with great price comes great expectation)... in Alloy's case, this where I think they missed it a bit. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good... verging on excellent... for their price point though I want angels to sing. I want more than really good (heck, excellent even!) mashed potatoes and a short rib braise. The restaurant space is and has always been a surprisingly awesome space... ‘Increadibles' - like 60s contemporary modern just oozes hip. I've been a patron of this brand since (literally) the day they opened... which is maybe part of why I'm a little bit sad. The Alloy that I knew was a place where I could find ‘crazy - out there menu items' - like ‘Roasted Corn Raviolis in Habanero Parsnip Cream' and ‘Crème Brûlée 3 Ways' vs. last evening's short ribs and mashed with demi and strawberry cake. Don't get me wrong... I had a very fine dinner... but I know what it once was... unfortunately the bill pretends that it still is what it once was.

Loved Alloy's new summer menu that showcased fresh notes of strawberry, citrus, grapefruit, green apple, pomegranate and cherries across their drink and menus! Always a treat to enjoy surrounded by excellent ambience, service and a mid-century modern vibe!

Food was impeccable, as usual. The new menu is amazing. We had the beef tenderloin and the pork tenderloin. Perfect blend of flavours. Also tried a mocktail. Wonderful.

We visited for my birthday dinner on a Friday night. The meal was fantastic and everything was cooked perfectly but the service left something to be desired. For the prices that you pay, I would expect more attentiveness and friendliness. We also added in our reso it was a special occasion (birthday) and we got probably the worst table in the restaurant. We actually noticed a few other people ask to swap tables - the setup is odd for a higher end restaurant. All in all it’s a good restaurant but the service seemed off and the seating could be better.

Went to a Christmas party there. The food was okay, the reviews set a very high explanation that was not met, but the food was good . The service was okay, the staff were withdrawn and very quiet. The restaurant was nice inside, but with only hard surfaces it was very loud. I will try I agin as a normal customer, to see if this was a one time experience.
