I booked Alloy for a party of 5 to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. It was a new experience for all of us, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing.
My mother-in-law has a bell pepper allergy and asked to substitute the pepper hash in her chicken dish. They didn’t offer any real options—she was served a plain chicken breast with a smear of brown sauce and asked if she wanted “some cooked veggies on the side.” After serving her Judy the chicken. Paying $44 for that was unacceptable.
My husband had their fish special, which was octopus. When it arrived, I couldn’t help but laugh—it was three tiny pieces of octopus, a few veggies, and the thinnest sliced potatoes I’ve ever seen $46. The arrancini that came with my steak was actually the best part of the meal.
To make matters worse, my mother-in-law got a chipped champagne flute, which cut her lip on the first sip of a $22 drink. The staff also didn’t acknowledge that it was my mom’s birthday—no complimentary dessert or even a simple acknowledgment.
Overall, the portion sizes do not justify the prices, and the cocktail menu is very underwhelming. We left feeling disappointed, hungry, and like the celebration wasn’t valued. We won’t be back

We arrived at 6pm for our reservation and were immediately greeted by our very efficient server Nikita. She was attentive without being overbearing the whole time we were there. We started with the hummus. It was really delicious. Two of us don't eat wheat and were delivered fresh veg on individual plates. Nice touch. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. One had the chicken, one had the fish of the day, lobster risotto topped with prawns, and one had the duck breast. All excellent. We shared a bottle of Chablis which was very nice. All in all an excellent experience. Thanks!

DELICIOUS! Had the beet salad to start and the short rib as a main. Easily accommodated my GF/DF lifestyle. Large portions, left stuffed! Hot tip: order a Haku vodka martini with a twist, you won't be disappointed!

Some tasty some not so good. The salad was good as was the crab cake and potato soup. The beef tatami was good, but some plates had 3 and some had 4, some with lots of arugula and some had a couple pieces of green. The striploin was tasty, but some had lots of grizzle and was super chewy and only two little pieces. The risotto was like rice and way too many peas. Desert was very good.
My wife and I went to Alloy for a combination of celebrations; my wife's birthday, our 20-year anniversary and New Years. They had a set menu which was absolutely fabulous. The food was exquisite!! The waiter we had, Chris, was extremely polite and attentive to our needs and engaged us in light conversation. We also had the owner, Uri, come by to congratulate us on our three special occasions. I can honestly say that the experience we had at Alloy restaurant New Year's Eve Dec 31 2025 might have been one of our best dinner experiences we've ever had! Absolute appreciation for Uri and Chris in making our evening one for the ages! Thank you so very much! We will be back!

Had a pleasant experience at Alloy. Didn’t visit this place for years, but it was same good experience as it was many years ago!
Shrimp tempura was amazing, beef brisket was good, duck was also good but we didn’t like the sauce and the side vegetables.
Overall experience was great, will be back again
