One of the best veggie platters I’ve had in Calgary! The flavors were incredibly rich and satisfying. Every dish we ordered felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The injera was soft and perfectly tangy, and the lentils, greens, and stews were all so well-seasoned. The welcoming service and a cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. I’ve been searching for a great Ethiopian restaurant in Calgary ever since Marathon closed, and it’s been tough to find one that truly delivers on authenticity and flavor. Having spent a fair bit of time traveling through Ethiopia, I’ve developed a strong palate for the cuisine, and Alpha Bar and Restaurant absolutely nails it.
