The best sandwiches in town for sure, the meatball is perfection.

Great joint to grab a bite, the food came out quickly and was delicious. We enjoyed a basket of Parm fries, charred broccoli and I had the Tuna melt. Will definitely be coming back to try out their other dishes, everything looked great on their menu.

I can say I was there in 2019 BC - before COVID - and the French Dip has stuck with me ever since.
Fantastic. Memorable and special but completely unpretentious. Perfect flavor, mouth feel, savory dip, perfect bun.
Damn, that was good, and I can’t wait to go back some day - even though you can never go home again.
So glad this place is still doing what they do. Thank you!

We are visiting from out of town and were looking for a lunch spot that was both vegetarian and gluten-free friendly. This was the perfect eatery. The soups were delicious as well as the salads—-and my son loved his turkey sandwich. Also make sure you get a basket of homemade chips!

Alumni Sandwich is a casual, friendly spot with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff are attentive and genuinely welcoming—the waiter who served us was very kind and helpful, and the bartender also kept an eye on guests to make sure no one was left waiting.
We ordered the Parnassian chicken sandwich, which was very nice. The bread was soft and delicious, the chicken well-cooked, and the overall texture comforting and satisfying. The spicy chicken sandwich seems to be the most popular choice, but the tomato paste-style sauce on ours tasted a bit like condensed tomato. While it was still enjoyable, I would personally suggest a milder or more balanced sauce—perhaps a pesto, garlic aioli, or lighter tomato blend—to let the quality of the chicken and bread shine through.
Happy hour here offers lower prices on drinks (not sandwiches), and there were some good beer options for those who enjoy pairing one with their meal. I personally do not drink beer with food, but the choices looked appealing.
Overall: Fantastic service, tasty sandwiches, and a relaxed vibe. With a few tweaks to the sauce, the Parnassian could easily be perfect.

Sandwiches are always good, but nothing stood out terribly with the two I tried, nor the sides we ordered. Service was mid.

So good I came twice, second time I brought friends. Between these two visits have sampled four different Sandwiches. The Dagwood I'd pass on, but it was still good. The show stopper is the hot chicken, my goodness that's unbelievably good. Had full heat twice, already counting the days to coming back!
Their fries are pretty good. Their store made potato chips are plain, but outstanding!
Service was excellent both times, both were adults (not teens) which I really appreciate. I hope they are getting paid a living wage, but both times we all tipped very well because the food is so fantastic.
TBC this place is not cheap, but there is nothing like these sandwiches anywhere! Parking isn't that bad to find, location is nice. Absolutely will come back.

One of the best sandwiche places I have been to. I had the veggie torta - it was so flavorful, fresh. I loved the mix of black beans, green, avocado and the dip. The service was quick and waiters were friendly. The sandwich is a good size and almost a 1.5 meal.

THE best sandwich deli diner in Calgary bar none. Amazing amazing sandwiches, and a full liquor bar with cocktails too. Taylor our server was superb. Look at the size of that turkey club, absolutely huge for $17. Probably the best club sandwich we have ever eaten. The Reuben was also superb.
