We came here to listen to a friend sing. It has an immersive atmosphere that provides an escape from the rat race. The food and service were great. We rang up a bigger bill than normal to sit through a couple of music sets.

Alvin's jazz club is a Great jazz breakfast spot for Sunday morning brunch with mother .
From the menus that light up when you open them the Ambiance the Jazz in the background everything was perfect thanks so much for making Mother's Day a great experience for us

We had a wonderful time on our Wed date night! The $100 per couple price for a 3-course meal was a great deal. The food was tasty, live jazz was enjoyable ($10 cover pp), and the service was top-notch. The elegant and clean facilities added to the ambiance, and free parking was a bonus. We'd definitely recommend this spot and look forward to returning.

Just checked out this awesome place for the first time! It’s got a cozy, romantic feel and really good food. The band was solid, though pretty loud :). We chilled for a couple of hours on Saturday night, enjoying some blues tunes. Can’t wait to come back!

Listen, im a die-hard lala land, so when I heard that Calgary had a jazz club, I knew I had to go, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere and music are seriously top-notch. The food is great, but it's obviously quite expensive. I can never justify $20 for a salad, but i can not deny that the beef tar tar was quite good. Overall if you want that Lala Land experience. This is the place to go

Simply lovely! My friend brought me here for my birthday. Everything was great. Beautiful food. I had the Salmon and the bread pudding for dessert! The lady singing jazz sang happy birthday to me. It was a great night! Please bring a loved here… you won’t regret it.

A Jazzy Birthday Brunch to Remember!!!!
This was our second time at Alvin's Jazz Club, and once again, it did not disappoint. We came for Sunday brunch to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The ambiance was perfect, smooth live jazz, a stylish and cozy atmosphere, and a great vibe for a special occasion.

The food was delicious, with a great variety on the brunch menu, but what truly made it memorable was our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome and honestly, she made the whole experience 10 times better.

We’re already planning to come back for dinner soon. Alvin’s is quickly becoming one of our favourite spots!

Amazing experience! Thomas Alexander sings incredible! The food was also amazing, I’ve never had a chicken so tender. I strongly recommend. A bit pricey but worth it. I didn’t order a cocktail because they have classic ones but other than that it was awesome. Will come again!

Staff needs proper training.. for this calibre the waitress didn’t know what was in our food when asked if it’s avocado or not. And the other thing is be cautious with tipping the card machine only has18% and up. Click on other and do manual how much you think your server is worth. Do Not Tip High On Bad Service..!! Rule #1.take the tax’s out then add % of Tip. Not on top of tax. It’s wrong & over done for lousy service. Then it’s expected

Wow. This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks and the music were all top notch. You do need to specify gluten free, but other than that we very much enjoyed the night out.

So fun!!! One of the best date night/night out spots in Calgary. We had an amazing time spending the evening at Alvin’s. The food was pretty good, the short rib croquettes were a bit dry, but the cured salmon tartar was amazing. The cocktails were good too, but the atmosphere was the best. Barry Shaw was performing and did an incredible job. The staff were all very friendly, and we had an amazing experience. Cannot wait to visit again!
