Something has changed in this bakery. Either they have a new owner or a new pastry chef. Lately they don't have most of the mini eclairs or cream puffs available, and the flavor of their pastry in general and the apple strudel is not the same. It is not as enjoyable as it used to be. The staff is also rude. I have been a customer for years, but I don't think I will waste my time going there anymore.

I needed a cake for an engagement party (with short notice) and Amandine bakery far exceeded my expectations! They were accommodating, friendly, and efficient.
The cake turned out beautifully and was the star of the show. Highly recommend supporting this local bakery. 5 stars! :)

We got to try a dozen of their fruit tarts and they were very enjoyable. The tarts themselves were crispy and were covered with a dark chocolate layer. The fruits were sweetened on the outside as well. It was a nice mixture of textures between the soft custard, crispy tart, and fruit.
In terms of proportions of the tart, I would have preferred a thinner crust (and more custard in the tart) and it was sometimes hard to appreciate the custard due to the chocolate overpowering it.
I look forward to trying out some of their other baked goods in the future!

I had called on January 21st to order two custom cakes for my daughterâs birthday on February 2nd. One with blue rosettes for a Frozen cake for my daughter, and one blue with red trim for a Spider-Man cake for her best friend, simple enough for any baker. I had originally mentioned I would pick the cakes up at 1pm but had called back on January 26 to change the pick up time to 11 and add writing on the cakes they said thatâs fine any time after 11 the cakes will be ready. February 2nd I get to the bakery at 12:15, when I get inside Iâm told my cakes arenât ready and they need another 10-15 minutes. I go back to my car for 10 minutes, go back inside and am told itâll still be another 15 minutes. Iâm now extremely frustrated as I told them Iâd be there at 11 so the cakes shouldâve been long done. The cashier brings out the first cake, the âFrozenâ one. It is absolutely terrible looking, the icing was not rosettes, just blue lines with massive gaps, not at all what I ordered. I was also told I was going to pay $10 extra for the extra frosting which was not used. I ended up leaving as I didnât have time to wait and it was clear they were rushing my order even though I made it well in advance.
I had ordered my sonâs cake from Amandine in August, it was a trickier design and it turned out as expected, so I know I was not asking too much. I had planned to make amandine our go to for kids birthday cakes but will now not be going back. Sobeys saved the day for me that day and thatâs now going to be my first stop for cakes.

I've been buying sandwiches here occasionally for the past few months, normally they are fantastic, but what i bought today shocked me. I had already eaten 3/4 sandwiches before realizing there was MOLD growing on the cheese and ham in small amounts. absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. will not be returning.

I ordered a birthday cake last December. Bread was not baked fully. Cream was good. I was disappointed to see fewer fruits on top as I ordered a fruit cake. I expected a complete fruit flavored cake along with more seasoned fruits.
